Re: [DEV] TimeAgo timestamps

Thx for the upgrade; I think however you misunderstood my "language" problem In English its like this : 8 Months, 2 Weeks, 3 Days Ago. In Dutch its like this : 8 Maanden, 2 Weken, 3 Dagen geleden. Translated the mod shows : 8 Maands, 2 Weeks, 3 Dags geleden. I peaked in your code, and I think the "p...

Re: [DEV] TimeAgo timestamps

I think I found 2 buggies! - language is not adapted to non-English (duh) I tranlated (see below) however its still wrong, maybe this is me, but in Dutch for example Months are translated as Maanden. (so not just adding a S) - In the ACP, ext/mop/timeago/adm/style/images/tiny_orange_checkbox.png wil...

Re: Simplify post dates by aproximating calculating how much time has passed

I have an extension which does this. It's not packaged for distribution yet, but if you can wait for a few days, I'll put one out. I'm traveling right now, so once I get home on the 28th, I will work on a distribution. It uses units from "Seconds" all the way through "Decades" and every increment i...

Custom field color text user defined variable

Hey, I was looking for this "extension" or a hack that would add an option where users can choice there own color of text of viewtopic; This was requested to me and I don't know how. My attempt was to use custom profile field, but I don't really know how to hack it in the template, and either way it...

Re: 3.0 to 3.1 - Large Board?

The difference is that the "normal db update" uses the web-interface to update, this is a rather lengthy process if you have a large board. (waiting & click button & wait ...) This command executes all the updates at once. However you need access to cli (ssh). I was looking for an alternative way of...

Re: Simplify post dates by aproximating calculating how much time has passed

I think with phpBB 3.1's requirements to PHP 5.3.3+, it might be doable with dateinterval

Re: Rotate Image Captcha Plugin

Great mod ! Stupid-people-prove and secure. I think this is one of the better methods to stop bots, however watch out for systems like : http://tineye.com . As they might give reference to possible answers ! Consider they have the original file its just a match making task anymore.

Re: [RC] Sortables CAPTCHA Plugin

Good idea, however not 100%, as random attempts might get in (/brute force) , mainly on automatic posts, as attempts on registration can be limited.
However I like the idea, and some creative minds, might bring the fix for random guessing.

Re: [DEV] phpBB3 Forum AI

Nice to see someone is working on this again, as the phpBB 2 version was kinda dead. Note that way more then only ALICE is available, in aiml. Goodluck with you're mod!
