Because this file is being used by multiple locations and a central place to modify the menu would be welcome.

Re: $user->data['user_type'] not being defined in included p

But I'm not having a problem adding a page. I'm having a problem parsing a variable in a phpinclude in the template.

How to change newly registered users posts needing approval

Hi there everyone, I've got a shiny new phpBB3 installed on a site. The forum is being used for a group of people that know each other and admins are approving the registrations to make sure it's someone they know, so they don't have any need of moderating new users' posts. I've looked under manage ...

Re: $user->data['user_type'] not being defined in included p

I sure can, here you go: <?php echo(" <div align='center'> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <table class='tablebg' width='975' cellspacing='1' cellpadding='0' style='margin-top: 5px;'> <tr> <td class='row1'> <div class='breadcrumbs'><a href='/index.php'>Front Pag...

$user->data['user_type'] not being defined in included php

Hi there everyone, I'm having a small issue with a php file I'm including in my overall_header. For clarification, the file is being successfully included. It's just my if statement that's not working. My if statement: <div class='searchbar'> "); if($user->data['user_type']=='3'){ echo(" <a href='ad...

does phpBB remove session variables that it doesn't like?

Hi there everyone, I'm having a problem creating a classifieds system that uses the phpBB3 session integration. My problem is that I'm losing session values that I try to set. When I print the session value on the page that I set it, it's successful but when I submit the form, the session value that...

Using phpbb's post box and related features outside of forum

Hi there everyone, I'm creating a classifieds system that is wrapped inside the phpbb session system(I used the session integration tutorial found on this site). I was wondering if I'd be able to use phpbb's post box and parsing for the classifieds system. Since the users are already accustomed to i...

Re: automatically remove inactive users after (x) days?

Hi there and thanks very much for the reply.

To clarify, I'm aware that I can delete them. I would like to know if there is a way for the board to automatically delete a user that hasn't activated his account in a set period of time.

thanks,

automatically remove inactive users after (x) days?

Hi there,

If the setting exists, I'm missing it. Checking today, I saw inactive users from over a year ago when I moved to phpBB 3.x. Is there a setting in the ACP that will delete users that don't activate their account after a certain period of time?

is it possible to email/pm admin/mod when post reported?

Hi there everyone,

As the title suggests, I'm looking for the option that will contact admin/mod when a post is reported. If it exists, I'm not finding it.

Is this possible with the current board or is it something that I will need to take care of on my own?

Thanks for your time.

Re: External View Total # of Topics in a Forum

Hey there, Until someone smarter than I shows up to help you out, I'll do my best to try to hook you up. On your external page, you need to connect to your database before doing any queries, so make sure you've done that before this code. This assumes that "phpbb_" is the prefix on your db tables. C...

Member map mod/integration/addon?

Hi there everyone, I'm looking for a member map addon. I am wondering if there's anything offered for phpBB3 other than Phoogle/Schmoogle. Commercial is A-OK in my book, but I'm hoping for something that hasn't been abandoned three times, spent 3 years in alpha status and sees updates on such a rare...

Thanks very much for that. I'm using the subsilver 2 theme and will hunt it down.

Re: Can I borrow the "new pm" popup function outside the for

Does anyone know of a forum(non-official) that helps people wanting to make small changes to the phpBB3 framework that they could point me to?

thanks,
