phpBB 2.0.15 - Security Issues

Are the existing security features adequate or should I consider adding a security MOD such as "phpBB security" or another one?

Thanks

I searched for 'chat' in this forum and get stuff like:

[2.0.15] Attachment Mod
[2.0.10] Cash Mod
[2.0.10] Moderator CP

Yes, the search feature on here really does suck! If it doesnt freeze up with a white screen it returns irrelevant results.

Does a simple mod for this exist? I only need to add 1 new title.

Thanks.

I also get the parse error - it disables admin/index.php ... must be a coding error somewhere?

Not much to mess up here either - copy and paste the text into a specific location and upload ;) so I have ruled out operator error :P

richardh - did you ever find a mod for this?

I would like to investigate this option. - As admin I want to receive an email linking me to an approval page where I can review the new users profile prior to activating them as a new member.

regards.

... in other words dont click the link in the email?

Seems like it would be more efficient if the link lead me to an admin page where I could review the data and then confirm or not. I will take a look at the mod section.

Approve new accounts first

I set enable account activation to "admin" so that I could review new accounts. I was testing this and got an email with the following text & a link ... "The account owned by "test" has been deactivated or newly created, you should check the details of this user (if requ...

Both of those files are ok ... the only thing I can think of is an error somewhere in the database. Im not a master of mySQL, so I dont know exactly how to go about fixing the problem. The rank_min Field(s) are set as type mediumint(8) - no function is set and the value is showing as -1 as stated ab...

Rank Administration - minimums not displaying.

The minimum # of post required to reach a rank is not displaying in Rank Administration area ... when I go to edit it and reinsert it, that field is also empty. Is this a mySQL issue? The code in the ranks_list_body looks fine to me ... <tr> <td class="{ranks.ROW_CLASS}" align="center...
