Outstanding hack!! I have used it numerous times, including today with a user who got abusive last night, drew two cards, then went back and edited the offending posts. He no longer can 8) I've also used the post disable temporarily with known troublemakers - I don't want to ban them outright - just...

RMcGirr83 - Your list is about one fifth the size of my mod list 8O Among others, I have the Attachment mod. Maybe that's the culprit :? Capmaster, you didn't overwrite the files when upgrading did you? No. In fact it was a fresh install when we moved sites in July. I reinstalled all the mods over a...

I had this successfully installed on 2.0.14. Now I'm unning 2.0.16 on a different server and no matter what I do I can't get it to show up. The ACP config page looks OK and I enter the browser text, but nothing :? I've reinstalled a couple of times and finally gave up. I kinda liked the custom text....

That did the trick Robert! Thank you!!

I looked at that name field already, but I had assumed the cookies would have the full URLs. keeping them separate. There's that word "Ass-U-Me" again :D

I have the same problem. Posts that are read still show as unread, but only in the forums residing in subdomains. I have three full domains on my server: www.convopit.com convopit.net convopit.org convopit.org has a /forum/ folder with the main site forum - The Conversation Pit. www.convopit.com ha...

...But ....it only works reliably on virgin or semi-virgin forum installations. Put a few hacks in and it quickly becomes an exercise in futility. And rightfully so - it's looking for a term in a SELECT statement, for example, and if the line has been changed, it bombs.... I don't want to get off o...

I would think it would be easier to edit using notepad or wordpad.

Try it with one of those text editors. Wordpad sometimes also makes tpl files easier to read because of the formatting

would you mind, please, to report exactly the errors you found? isn't possible to install every mod to see if and where.. you know.. When installed correctly - and by that I mean the code is free from typos - it crashes the server when I try to go into Viewforum. Then I must reatart and it's fine u...

My gripe with Easymod is that it shields you from this learning experience. So yes, I agree with you and everyone that if you want support, then please use easymod. But if you want to learn code the hard way, you should install some stuff by hand and learn all you can from it, but in that case, do ...

Yeah it's the same one. I've been pulling my hair out over this mod. This has to be the most stubborn one I've dealt with, and I've installed some doozies, like online/offline, cash mod, Amod and a few other lengthy ones. This is a simple little thing and it shouldn't be giving me this much trouble....

Installed prt 1 &2 with easymod and working perfectly on .17 8) That's great on a vanilla forum. EasyMod is nothing but trouble for my heavily-modded forum though  Some of my .tpl files have been modified more often than J Lo's little black book 8O BTW: I tried it one more time and it locked ...

How about a different Highlight Topics User Posted In Mod?

Fredol's hack won't work on my board. I've tried everything. But several members have been asking for this to be added. We had fredol's installed on the previous site and it worked fine. Using identical code it now doesn't work. And I can't seem to get an answer from him, and his update link is dead...
