Still no reply. I was hoping I'd get a link to the new version without the "Left Join". It will not run for me. It gives a line 3 error and pooints to line 301 of viewforum.php saying there's an SQL error in the context. I've played around with adding/removing parens, and when it isn't erroring out,...

I think so. I'm not getting any replies so it may be a dead end. Pity. I liked the little dots in the topic bells

Ah well, back to phpbbhacks.com :D

I had parts 1 and two installed and working fine on a 2.0.14 installation. Now that I have moved sites and am running a 2.0.16 install of phpBB, I attempted to install this mod again. I get a parse error when going to forum view. I've redone the hack three times with varying ways of doing this instr...

Never mind guys. I narrowed it down to auth.php The User Levels mod changed something that removed all the mod buttons and the link. I restored the original file and the stuff is back. The User Levels mod is authored by kooky. When I do a search here all I get is a blank screen with IE and FF. I can...

Does ModCP affect the standard mod buttons - Split, move, lock, etc? I installed it and now my moderator buttons are gone as well as the "Moderate This Forum" link at the lower right for the forum-level moderate screen. I've installed other mods, but this one is the most likely. THis only affects th...

i did....the only working install was spelling thing. THen I don't know what to suggest. I'm sort of new to this myself, but I've had about 6 months experience modding my forum. I'm sure some uber-hack writers here can conjure up something for you to try next. You don't usually have to wait very lo...

I did but i couldnt get it working :( i tried easymod and it messed up phpbb so all the topics were justa white screen. EasyMod seems to only work well on unmodded installations. I never use it anymore. Try a manual install of Cards. It takes a bit of time, as it's a rather involved mod, but the re...

Re: Ban button?

Firefox and scroll bar

All my members who use Firefox are complaining that they have a horizontal scroll bar in the index, viewforum and viewtopic views without any unusually wide content. I have already installed the word wrap hack, which works fine, but seems of no help here. My forum logo isn't unusually wide - it's on...

THanks DashSpeed. I really do appreciate your help  But ....NFG. I copied your post and uploaded it to /templates/subsilver/ as topics_list.box.tpl and .... it still doesn't show the date or the time - just the OP's name. Time to throw in the towel, I suspect. There's obviously something else ...

Redid it with the two in opposite positions. The second attempt I changed it just as you had listed. Nothing. No date, no time there. Is there another file besides the .tpl file where I have to call out the variable? Like in constants.php? I'm fairly new at this so I'm just guessing, but it had no e...

did you save the file and upload it? did you edit the template that you are using to check the difference? that image doesn't look like subSilver. did you edit subSilver or another template? sometimes it's those little things that makes the difference. like yesterday when i tried to print a Dark Ag...
