You need to edit your php.ini file. It looks like the settings only allowed a small amount of connections with the database, so you need to raise the number.

There's hiya-host.com, but they seem to not be working right now...do you have a computer at home that's always connected to the internet? Because if so, you could just set up a server on that computer. I can show you how, just PM me if you're interested. Othewise, good luck finding a good host. ;)

Hmm...thanks, I might be able to use that, but that's not what I was asking. I need a short description of how phpBB compiles the templates. I can try to figure it out through the source code, but it's really confusing, with the multi-dimentional arrays and stuff...thanks in advance!

You're not going to find a very good host for free...I'd recommend getting a paid one, it's worth the money...OR, you can make your own server, but that takes a lot of work.

Do you know PHP? Or at least how to edit the source code files? Because I can write a code for you and then tell you how to put it in if you want. PM me if you're interested.

Uhhhh....Yes, you can restore and older database to a newer version.

...you can? I thought you needed to upgrade first...hmm...never mind then I guess... :/

Sorry, but I actually need to know how the template works, not how to use it. Is there an article or something that explains some of the variables and/or functions of the class? If not then thanks anyway, I'll try to figure it out myself.

Include code? The include function is built into PHP...if that's what you're asking.

You can't restore a database in phpBB 2.0.18 with a database from an older version. Get your 2.0.13 phpBB install (if you still have it), then upgrade it, and THEN back-up the database.

phpBB Templates?

Can someone briefly explain to me how the phpBB templates work? I tried to figure it out from the source, but the arrays had like 10 arrays inside each other, and it got way too confusing. Thanks in advance!

Obviously, your admin page is missing. Try to re-download phpbb and see if it works...I don't know how else to help you.

There isn't any way to do that, but there should be a MOD for this feature...check the MODs section.

Is phpbb3 a free forum host? If so then you should get a real host. A lot of the free forum hosts have problems, or are limited in some way.

Are you using a free forum host? Well that's why you can't do anything. I recommend getting a real host, where you can actually back-up your databases and add MODs and stuff like that. The only way to do what you want to do is install a MOD, but you can't do that on those free forum hosts.
