Re: ya'll are awesome

OK, thank you for the advise. I think everything is back to normal and the boss may even keep me around for another day! I have to say that I can see how you could mistakenly delete all users. I don't think the empty box at the top that selects all users is a good idea...it's too easy to inadverten...

This MOD does not do what you are looking for.

However, you can probably make it do what you want.

If you remove the code that shows the default icon and replace it with the code for the assigned forum icon, then you may get what you want.

For me it is a good mod. (Dutch) :) screen . Regards, Peter Based on the image that you link, you have the older version. The newer version includes icons instead of the "Open/Gesloten" text. This gives you extra width back on your screen. Gebaseerd op het beeld dat u verbindt, hebt u de oudere ver...

Hi, Thanks for the reply, sorry if I was not clear. http://www.cityyears.co.uk/images/subforum.jpg How can I limit the number of topics that are displayed? Thanks I don't have access to my phpbb source code just now, but I whipped up a .html example. The middle cell in the table has a div tag that ...

Hmm, there is another way to limit the size of the screen it takes up - I've seen a trick using CSS that makes a scrollable box around an area. You cna specify the size as a percentage of another area (such as the cell in the table in which it lives) and then anything larger than is accessable via s...

I agree useless. Even after you open it, I dont think it is easy instructions. Some mods have a better read me where it will start off with "open....just before add......or insert. Too advanced for me! There is another MOD named EasyMOD . It reads the instructions and does them for you. All .mod fi...

Excuse me for not wanting to read 104 pages. The version in the initial post doesn't appear to work for me. One of the drop-down boxes implies there should be 8 columns of information but I only see 4. Also, sorting won't work. What version is the latest validated version and what is the link I can...

"a sellect all" check box in the user control panel would be really good for when you want to delete multiple users who aren't activated. Any plans on adding this feature? You have the old version. This feature is already in the new version. Download it here: http://deathmonkeighs.com/files/Admin_U...

Re: install mod

How do I change the results shown from 20 to some other by default? The instructions are here on page 30 of this thread. Are there any instructions on installing this mod? I don't see any in the download. Thanks Use EasyMOD. The .mod file IS the instructions for installation. It can be installed au...

For the missing file formIE.css - just copy it from one of your other template directories. or from any other phpbb forum site http://base_address/templates/template_name/formIE.css For instance: http://www.phpbb.com/phpBB/templates/subSilver/formIE.css And the keywoprds to look for to add manually ...

Now that I have it working, there's one thing I don't like. I don't want the subforum to show at all on the main page, only in the forum where it belongs. How could I make that happen? Thx. Here is where to find a description of something similar The code changes in that example are to remove the l...

Hello, I'm afraid I've got exactly the same error as Bert (on page 100) I'm on version 2.015 of phpbb and I've performed the sql command within phpmyadmin which Shadow316 suggested. Do I need to upgrade my version of phpbb? Btw. I'm not on the default template, but I edited the userlist_body.tpl to...

Love the MOD, it works better than others IMHO, but I'm having trouble getting the Sort capabilities to work. No matter what I choose to sort on, I just get the default sort (by joined date, ascending). I'm using 2.0.21 Check that you have the latest version 2.0.6 of this MOD. The sort bug was solv...
