Re: I want a header and menu like this.

It's not hard to make it responsive. As I said, presentation is easy to change. If you want a demo of a responsive version on Prosilver, there's one here: http://hawkdawg.com/forums/index.php Note that I've changed the position of the menu to put it at the top of the page, but that's just using a cu...

Re: I want a header and menu like this.

If they want a menu like this site's below the banner, rather than links inside the banner, this extension is good: https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=456&t=2330071 Provides built-in drop menus for extra content, and sits nicely below the banner by default. Presentation is easy to chang...

Re: Is it possible to change the placement of quick links?

Ok, so when you ask "Is it possible?" what you really mean is "I want somebody to do it for me". You're not after guidance, but after someone to do a custom job for you. Which is fine, but it's better to say so.

Re: Is it possible to change the placement of quick links?

Well it still does have "quick links". They are even quicker than default, because you don't have to open a drop menu to get to the links*. So if you want to be fussy about terminology you could call WE's presentation "super quick links", but it's still the same content as the default drop menu. It'...

Re: Image extension

You could try this: https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/extension/postimage/
Not sure if it works with 3.2.8, but it might.

Re: How to set another header image in mobile view

Sure. Just tack an extra declaration into the relevant media query in responsive.css, and call whatever image you want.

Re: Is it possible to change the placement of quick links?

Senel has already said they want to do it on Prosilver. ;) The theme I'm linking to, do you see how unanswared, view active topic looks on that theme? Not like ordinary prosilver. I ask if you can do the same on prosilver. If the idea is to make the arrangement exactly the same as on WE_Universal (e...

Re: Is it possible to change the placement of quick links?

Sure you can do it. It would make more sense as a child style though, rather than directly hacking Prosilver. It's a good idea to keep the default style unhacked, just in case something goes wrong with a custom one and you need a working fallback.

It's seriously scary, but you've done a good job of it.

You want Admin > Posting > Manage attachment extensions.

Oh, and you'll need the next page in that section too: Manage attachment extension groups.

Re: Has anyone tried using script defer with phpBB?

Yes I've been reading around and there are quite a few tricks available if you want to get into splitting things down*. At this stage I don't want to try all of them, but there are some interesting ideas out there. I'm not sure how useful some of them would be for a basic phpBB forum though. *I thin...

RIghto. I have a test site anyway, so I'll just go nuts on that and see if anything breaks. Should be amusing.

When I view your site with Internet Explorer and minimize the screen - your top and bottom advertising banner blow out the side.

Max-Width doesn't work with internet explorer
IIRC, the last version that didn't support it was the infamous IE6. It has certainly worked with IE since IE8.

The problem is that if the image is inserted in the language file, it is not responsive.
That would only be because there is no CSS to make it responsive. You can always add some.

Ok. Must admit I haven't tried it myself yet. I was kinda hoping there had been previous guinea pigs so I knew where the traps were.
