Re: What do you like or not like about MODX?

Great news, Thanks for the reply. Nice nickname on that also. LOL. I was pretty sure you were aware of what I was speaking of and glad to know that the mod team is moving in that direction. Hope all goes well. Yes I'm well aware of ModX and how it works. I've read up on it when the information was f...

Re: What do you like or not like about MODX?

Hm. The thing with MOD installations is always the same: I have to do it manually, every single line needs to be selected and either searched for or inserted before/after/instead the searched line. MOD-installation takes an awful lot of time. So it'd great for the MOD authors and users if there wou...

Re: [DEV] 3Di Olympus Simple Portal

The option for the portal blocks to show on the left or right side of the forum would be nice, so far the other portals only offer blocks to show on a portal page which makes having portal blocks only useful if you plan on staying on a portal page with no intentions of wanting to see them on the for...

Re: 3 forums with one database

This forum doesn't support fantastico installs. Only installs using downloaded files from this site are supported. I am not against installing phpbb directly, the only reason I didn't was that my hosting company offered it. How would I go about having three forums with one database using a standard...

Re: Forum Font Colour.

Look for this in subsilver2 .titles { font-family: "Lucida Grande", Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-weight: bold; font-size: 1.3em; text-decoration: none; } or of your wanting to change the size of the category titles look for this. /* Text --------------------- */ then this .cattitle { }

Re: Forum Font Colour.

You will need to edit your stylesheet in the acp to match the colours you want to use. Look for this: /* Forum name */ font-family: "Trebuchet MS", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; margin-right: 200px; color: #FFFFFF; margin-top: 15px; font-weight: bold; font-size: 2em; } h2 { /* Forum header titles */...

Re: banner - header

You would need to edit the text as a hyperlink in the graphics program you used to point to the link for that. Example edit the Gen link to point to your custom page; http://your-site.com/gen.php Then open includes/functions.php and find: 'U_FAQ' => append_sid("{$phpbb_root_path}faq.$phpEx"), After ...

all my echo results end up above my phpBB forum header :?: any sugestions on that? Check to see if you added <!-- INCLUDE overall_header.html --> after any coding you did in your matching.html file. Re: set as homepage

You can put the code in a table or out of a table. <td> <script language="JavaScript"> <!-- Begin if ((navigator.appName == "Microsoft Internet Explorer") && (parseInt(navigator.appVersion) >= 4)) { var url="http://www.yoursite.com/"; var title="your site title"; document.write('<a href="javascript:...
