Re: redirect error

I agree with both of you however, This is the only option I have that I see. Now you 2 may see another way that I am not aware of. Here are the 2 steps that are offered in the Hosting Control Panel so you may get a better view of what is offered. http://rattznest.org/images/sub1.png http://rattznest...

Re: change . index page

Or you could simply open language/en/common.php and find;

Code: Select all

	'INDEX'						=> 'Index page',
And change to:

Code: Select all

	'INDEX' => 'what ever you want it to say',
:D

Re: Weather code HELP!

Your missing this part of the script which goes before what you posted.

Code: Select all

<div id="wx_module_id">
   <a href="http://www.weather.com/weather/local/your zipcode">Your area, your state (your zipcode)</a>
</div>
This script for your site is free at weather.com. Only takes a minute to sign up ;)

Re: redirect error

Yeah I understood that was your hosting subdomain setup Just if you'd really set the subdomain up that way - you'd in effect be telling it to look inside itself to find itself - which is some sort of crazy infinite loop I don't even want to contemplate. But I doubt it would work at all like that. I...

Re: Problems Using a form after 'adding a new page to phpBB'

You didn't tell your file to look for a template page or to use the phpbb core files; <?php define('IN_PHPBB', true); $phpbb_root_path = (defined('PHPBB_ROOT_PATH')) ? PHPBB_ROOT_PATH : './'; $phpEx = substr(strrchr(__FILE__, '.'), 1); include($phpbb_root_path . 'common.' . $phpEx); else { echo "Var...

Re: redirect error

That is correct but, It was setup like this in the web hosting control panel not within the phpbb server settings nor within any of the settings in the phpbb install, config, etc..

Simply just telling the server what folder to look for, for the subdomain root.

Re: redirect error

Ok there are 2 different settings you had that differ from mine but actually seem to make no difference at all when set the same and that is the server address and the cookie domain: My server is set to: http:// instead of www. because for some reason if you include the www in the subdomain name add...

Re: open php inside html?

This is the exact same thing I am doing. Many many issues you have to resolve. I actually wrote a perl script that handles url request and appends my html around an iframe that contaiins phpbb. Beware, you are going to run into the scrollbar issues with iframe. I am not done with my surrounding htm...

Re: Menu Above Header, How?

You can create an html file with images and links then include the link to the html in your index_body.html file.
Example create the html file then in your index_body.html file link to it

Find:

Code: Select all

<!-- INCLUDE overall_header.html -->
After Add:

Code: Select all

<!-- INCLUDE your_custom_header.html -->

Go to advanced search
