Re: [Help] Adding Bots

Have you tried googling their site for info on how to add their bots to your site? Not sure how the dev team came up with the ability to add the already bots there to the board. They may be able to shed some light on how to go about adding bots. Would be nice if this was added in the DOCS or knowled...

Re: redirect error

That IS sad, and messy - because now you need to do updates in 2 places... This seems like a situation whe...

Re: redirect error

Just one other suggestion... Have you tried setting the script path to simply "/"? I've just looked at my own private forum (admittedly phpBB 2) which runs inside a subdomain and that's exactly what my script path setting is. Craig. Yes I have. It redirects anyway putting the subfolder after the su...

Re: Paypal button,

To get the button to show there, You would need to edit your index_body.html file.
Add the paypal code after:

Code: Select all

 <a href="{U_SEARCH_ACTIVE_TOPICS}">{L_SEARCH_ACTIVE_TOPICS}</a></li>
	<!-- ENDIF -->
Be sure to backup your original before making changes, Refresh your template cache after applying code.

Re: Banner

(Backup your overall_header file before trying this) I assume that's an image of subsilver2? Ifso try this. Open styles/template/subsilver2/overall_header.html and find: <a href="{U_FAQ}"><img src="{T_THEME_PATH}/images/icon_mini_faq.gif" width="12" height="13" alt="*" /> {L_FAQ}</a> Before add: &n...

Re: How to Embed a hosted video?

Yes your correct, where ever you see the yoursite.com replace it with your url. Add a bbcode like this and replace the url with the url of your video folder path [hostedvid]http://yoursite.com/videofoldername/videoplay?docid=-{NUMBER}[/hostedvid] the number code is supposed to from my understanding ...

Re: post links to open in new window?

In order for new urls to open in a new window you would need a mod for that:

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 0&t=934675

http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... ilit=prime

The text used can be edited via your .css file in the acp.
