Hey, sweet! This worked for me. I was having the same automatic login problem as well as the posts were showing up as read - always unread (if that makes sense)

The database contains the Domain name in a field called "server_name" in the table phpbb_config Use phpmyadmin to go to your database and then click the table phpbb_config on the left. Okay - I was able to use bigdump to transfer my backed up forum to my new one... But now, I disabled the board for the OLD forum so that I could do all of this, and it automatically disabled the NEW forum. Okay - I figured out how to do it. So I backuped my database via the admin panel by "Genderal Admin" > "Backup Database" Then I go to my new domain name which I have already installed the phpbb forum on and go to "Restore database" It takes about 10 minutes... But then it says, "No files were upload...

Hey guys! The search feature isn't working right now (just leads me to "Page cannot be displayed"), so I couldn't see if this is has been asked 5,000 times before. Well you can see what IP they posted from. Just go to any of their posts and (if you're logged in as an admin) a icon that says "IP" will display next to the "X" (delete) icon, etc.
