Re: Revision 9965 and bit stuff

I'll need to compare the forum options and user options code then... just to see what this difference means on code level. Forum flags and forum/user options. ;) The forum flags code is in includes/acp/acp_forum.php - or just grep the source for FORUM_FLAG_POST_REVIEW for example. The main differen...

Re: When is 3.0.6 is being released?

But it will definitely be easier to go from 3.0.5 to 3.0.6 than 3.0.4 to 3.0.6. ;)

Re: Revision 9965 and bit stuff

The 29 is basically a pre-caution to not exceed the maximum number able to be stored in the database and to prevent from casting to double or long. ;) PHP is a strange language after all. :D Also, we use this method now for user options and forum options, the forum flags are handled in a different m...

Re: phpbb.com/community dev code issues

Since the 3.0.x bug tracker supports the version 3.0.x SVN you should report it there and state the version the report is filed against is 3.0.x SVN. ;)

Re: Possible 3.0.6 BBCode Bug?

If you edit nothing it will simply store the text "as is". I changed the text and submitted and now i am no longer able to force the "wrong" display. :/

Did you change anything else?

Re: Question for the development team

Some tiny things are not included. Since *tiny* appears to be subjective, I'll take that to mean if I want a complete list of bugs fixed in any given release from now on, I will need to track them myself. Guess I'll just use the commit messages from the feed to automatically generate a new changelo...

Re: [split] Integration of phpBB and non PHP pages

Why not do post a page to our wiki? Maybe a lot more can benefit and extend on it.

Re: MySQL and Depriciated Code

When I upgraded my site to use MySQL 5, I had to change some queries to include parentheses around tables in the FROM clause. If I had done this from the start, then when I upgraded to MySQL 5, I would not have had to make those changes. The same goes for not using deprecated functions in PHP and s...

Re: MySQL and Depriciated Code

I was under the impression that, as it is standard SQL, the JOIN statement was overall supported and would not require special code. It is the same as everything else, the same as a implicit comma join. I may be wrong about it, but what would the sense of it being a standard be if it were not? Even...

Re: MySQL and Depriciated Code

Ah. Yes, we do implicit joins and i was not aware they will become deprecated. But i hope they will still be "doable", because we do not only support MySQL, but numerous DBMS - and all of them support this. ;)
