Upgrading phpBB Version with MODs Installed

Okay, I have a forum that has over 30 or so MODs installed. I want to upgrade it in a quick and efficient way. I tried upgrading the boards with the patch.exe thingy, but whenever I type in a command, nothing happens. I've tried entering many many commands and still no progress. I'm pretty sure I wa...

Oh, I see thanks. It seems after deleting all the core files manually, things seem to be back to normal. I just hope this doesn't happen again.

Oh that's good then.

Hmm, I don't know what PHPSuExec is so I doubt I have that. And I haven't installed any PHP scripts recently so yeah. Could this problem be from not upgrading my forums up to date?

Core files in phpBB directory?

Well, I haven't been checking out my site in 1-2 weeks. But when I do, I find out my disk space is well over the limit and I found that it's because of the forums. I check my main directory of phpBB and find like 50 files named core.numbers. Ex. core.10232 core.87108 core.08902 core.30872 Each file ...

Having Trouble with BigDump

Hey, I was using BigDump to help restore my forums backup, but when I use it get this error: Processing file: forums.gz Starting at the line: 1 Error at the line 24: ) ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=latin1; Query: CREATE TABLE `phpbb_attitude_mod` ( `user_id_from` int(10) NOT NULL default '0', `user_...

Re: two buttons before going to the second line

Hello, I installed BBCode Buttons Organizer 1.4.0a on phpbb 2.0.19 and Multiple BBCode MOD 1.4.0c. Using IE6 and also Firefox, this is what I get. I don't know why it doesn't put the line break after the url button? http://www.youregypt.com/forum/files/organizer.gif Here is the code in posting_body...

[Received] PM on Registration

I've been searching around for almost an hour so I figured that this mod doesn't exist. But if it does, please do tell me I'm wrong. I'm looking for a mod that automatically sends you a welcome message in a PM after you've registered. I've seen this done on IPB so I was wondering if there's one for ...

I'm not sure if the error only happened to me, but I think I found an error. When you edit the index.php page you're suppose to add this: (This is just the one line of the code added) 'USER_PROF' => append_sid($phpbb_root_path . 'profile.'.$phpEx.'?mode=viewprofile$amp;u='.$row[$i]["user_id"]), When...

Nice MOD, got it installed and it's looking mighty fine. http://deimonhigh.com/forums/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=2 Edited it a little to make it look perfect, my boards version 2.0.19. Here's what I did: ORIGINAL: <!-- BEGIN switch_signature_true --> <tr> <td colspan="2" class="catRight" width="...
