I already had 2.6.0 shop mod, but after installing 3.0.0, I realize that the Effects store is gone. Did I install it wrong? Yes, the config files in both are exactly the same, as they are pointed to the same restored database.

lol, yeah, I resorted to this. I just couldn't figure out what was wrong.

Oh no no, the the with the error message is the one backed up from my old host. The newly installed one works, but it doesn't have the mods from my old host. So I'm wondering how to get it to work with the one with the mods, but it seems I'm getting that error. Thanks though.

Install phpBB, export the queries on your old database with phpMyAdmin, run those same queries on your new database.

I get this message: message_die() was called multiple times. This isn't supposed to happen. Was message_die() used in page_tail.php?
