Re: phpBB2.0.19 -> 3.0: [gotopost] anchors

Now that I have performed a test installation, I am confused. I cannot find the HTML to use for replacement for the [anchor] and [gotopost] tags. Naturally, without the HTML replacement, the features do not work. A sample: [anchor]TOC[/anchor]Contents * [gotopost=4,acronyms]Acronyms[/gotopost] * [go...

phpBB2.0.19 -> 3.0: [gotopost] anchors

I tried searching here but didn't find a hit . . .

My board uses the Anchor BBcode mod extensively. I am looking for reassurance that existing [gotopost] codes within users' posts will be converted correctly.

Keep unread status over multiple logon/offs?

I did do a search before asking . . . I have not installed a beta, so I can't play with 3.0 directly, and this wasn't addressed in the Features page . * Does 3.0 do a better job of maintaining the Read/Unread status on a per-user basis? With 2.x, once you log on then log off, all Unread status is re...

I, too, have the "Save posts as Drafts" mod, and EM isn't finding the correct match in this section: # #-----[ FIND ]------------------------------------------------ # if ( $search_id == 'newposts' ) { if ( $userdata['session_logged_in'] ) { $sql = "SELECT post_id FROM " . POSTS_TABLE . " WHERE post...

Again, my Thanks!

Italicized username in "Who is Online" area

I've looked, but cannot find an answer. I have one user (" dlh ") whose username always (I think) presents italicised in "Registered Users" portion of the "Who is Online" section of the front page. Screenshot: http://asavage.dyndns.org/ftp/hosting/phpBB_01b.jpg What does the italicization indicate?

While autocomplete="off" is supposed to turn off the autocomplete feature, it doesn't here in Seamonkey 1.1a and FF 1.5.0.1 . If a form has both a "username" and "password" field in it, both those apps still fill in the form, my last hour of testing tells me. I'd sure love to be proven wrong, though.

I'm looking for something that gives all users/viewers a link to the post inside each post [thread] so they can reference it later (regardless of ownership of the post). You want the current post's URL, expressed in a link in a user's post that's generated automatically. That's not what this MOD do...

I use this MOD, and I use anchors extensively in a couple of long posts. Here's an example. In this page, the Table of Contents (TOC) items all link to anchors placed in the same post's text. http://nissandiesel.dyndns.org/viewtopic.php?p=4#4 Click on any item in the TOC, and you're taken downpage t...
