3aGLe is correct. Mac users generally go by the principle of the apps they do have, including Mac only apps, Cross Platform apps and Open Source apps. 10,000+ applications for a 5% market share OS isn't too bad. Devices are cross platform Mac, Windows and Linux by standard. We can thank USB for that...

@imac600: Could the 3.2GHz computer be dead, i.e. DOA? Also, Aero has transparency, which requires more processing power and more memory. And personally, it seems that Tiger doesn't have that many impressive effects. It might have a few hopping icons or pretty buttons, but thats about it. It ran pe...

Vista is having it's ups and downs at the moment. One report case from a radio station here says that "Vista failed to install on a brand new 3.2ghz PC with supposed Vista compatible hardware". They backed down to XP. Vista looks nice and has a lot of potential, but i'm on Mac OS X Tiger right now, ...

This is too perfect. Do you need beta testers? I'm up for giving it a test run.

Send me a PM if there is such a chance of an offer.

Does the web server support Cron?

I know people who use Cron Jobs to delete all 0 post users, and it's quite effective. But the server needs Cron support.

Simply, the theme you have installed is missing the Confirm_body.tpl file. This is quite common, but easy to resolve. 1. Download the latest phpBB from the phpBB.com downloads page. 2. Open the folder you downloaded and navigate to Templates > subSilver > Admin. 3. Copy the confirm_body.tpl file to ...

Thanks for the correction karlsemple and athakur999, it isn't the GNU GPL but rather a request of phpBB that grants you rights to tech support.

I stand corrected.

It's only fair. I think the phpBB developers are quite generous for say, not requiring a huge banner. The least we can do is have that link there. The way I see it, in terms of support, if one won't be respectful by removing the link, then why should these forums have to offer advice and tech suppor...

I think the Wii is a winner. It has done something no console has done since the first console (Magnavox Odyssey) by changing the way we interact with the console. And like so many have said, Graphics aren't everything. The gameplay on the Wii is excellent. I think that's been Nintendo's goal all al...

The GNU GPL for phpBB requests that link stay there, and like most I intend to respect the license.

It's also respectful. The folk who put in so many hours a day in to making phpBB a reality deserve credit. So the link stays.

Indeed, forums seem new but the market is completely saturated these days, so the forum could be 1 year old and still have no users.

Never add extra mods below the 50-100 user mark. It's often a deadly flaw.
