Open phpbb_db_backup.sql with a good text editor like notepad++ and follow my previous instructions (Save it with a different name in case you make a mistake). Then restore your modified backup.

I would strongly suggest you upgrade to the latest phpBB. Your board is currently succeptable to hackers.

This mod was desgined for 2.0.19. It "may" work with 2.0.16. You can ask the mod author - they will probably say upgrade or backup your files and try it.

In your backup. Phpbb will occasionally confuse special characters as the "regular" character. When you delete the INSERT_INTO yfrom your backup you are essentially NOT restoring the search index. The mod will recreate that index.

You can reinsert it into the DB. Depending on where it is you will have to edit multiple tables. (I'm sure it is posted here somewhere). You can change the date by editing the post_date and topic_date (not sure of correct names but easily discoverable). Search Google for "unix timestamp" to convert ...

Delete all of the lines of code that contain INSERT INTO phpbb_search_wordlist (delete the entire line all of the way up to the ";") Then, after restoring, use the Rebuild Search MOD to recreate your search_wodlist table. Alternate: Replace all of the lines of code that contain INSERT INTO phpbb_sea...

Just doing what you said.... Hmm.. Well sometimes when links contain spaces, or other special characters which phpBB will treat as normal characters instead of URLs the linking system will mess up.. The only advice I can give you is to be more careful when naming your files that you want to put up f...

It looks like you are using joomla. I would suggest you ask at http://www.joomla.org/ I believe they use a modified phpBB.

I would log in as admin and recreate the post. Once that is done, change the poster_id to that of the original user. (This way all of the appropriate phpbb changes are sure to be accomplished)
