Visual confirmation not working on IE but on FF?

I hardly ever use Internet Explorer, but I happen to view my Register page and found that the Visual confirmation is not working. However, it works fine on Firefox? Any thoughts?

Thanks

I can't really see what you're talking about. There is a big ad in the way.

The css in my overall_header is external. Also, what include are you talking about?

Yes, it's built of off subsilver
No, I made my changes in the template css file itself

Well, no, it's a template of my own design. I just said subSilver so not to cause confusion. However, my website template doesn't match my forum template. That is why I dislike having my forum's css and body inserted into the files I’m iframing on another page.

Does anyone have some thoughts? Please? When I view the page source, each of the files has the below code loaded into the tpl before my code even starts. Thus, it overrides my css and body codes. <!-- DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml...

Issue when iframing phpbb files

Hi, I'm iframing several stand-alone phpbb files into my main website. I've got them working and they display great. However, the files keep having my forum settings inserted into them. (i.e the css and body bgcolor, text, link, vlink) My question is how can I remove these so I can use an outside cs...

Hmmm. Could the wrong "Character set of the file" during the import cause this?

Well the group_count and group_count_max are not standard phpBB columns. If you still have your backup, open it up and find the part dealing with the groups table. Then just drop the table with phpMyAdmin and run the queries from your backup (including the inserts) dealing with the groups table. We...

Hi, thank you for the reply. I ran your file and it came back with: Query 1: Ran successfully Query 2: Ran successfully All queries have been run. If any errors came up above, be sure to post the report in your topic on phpBB.com. You should now delete this file However, when I just tried to delete ...

Several Debug Issues

Hi, Normally I can debug most issues on my own. However, these three errors really came out of nowhere and I’m having a problem fixing them. I want to point out that I recently moved to a new, but I’m not sure if that has anything to do with the below errors. I'm almost sure I didn't have these issu...

I just want to say that phpBB is a great forum system. I mean, why pay for the other bulletin board systems when phpBB is free and is just as good. If not better then the others. And the thing is almost all of those who get hacked don't keep their forum up-to-date. My forum is running 2.0.20, phpBB ...

Ser: That line SHOULD be in your phpbb files, and sessions.php is NOT part of the "phpbb security mod". Which means: You did not update correctly. Er, no, that line SHOULD NOT be in your session.php files, as its the insecure line that allowed admin bypass in versions less than 2.0.13. NeoThermic :P
