It is the page stretching modifications that are doing it. It can't be anything else. This forum is a basic forum install from this site. if it works here, yours is different.

I'm currently looking for the image BBcode handling to tell you how to fix it, but it may take a bit.

No, you cannot have used that install, or somebody changed the code. The default installation does not have the ability to stop page stretching. Have you or anybody else modified the code after the original installation?

Did someone install this for you/who: I did

Where did you get the download? If you installed it yourself and don't know what Mods are, you got a premodified version of phpBB from another Site.

Looking at the Code, you have a mod that changes the size of images so they do not stretch the page. That is what is causing your problem.

If you know which mod it is, contact that mod author.

Then use the toolkit to remove them as admins and add yourself.

Did you get it set up? Click the red security scan and remove the people that are not supposed to have admin powers, and anything that pops up as yellow or red. Then on the front page select your username and at the bottom use the "With selected promote to admin" option.

define('PRIVMSGS_NEW_MAIL', 1);
define('PRIVMSGS_SENT_MAIL', 2);
define('PRIVMSGS_SAVED_IN_MAIL', 3);
define('PRIVMSGS_SAVED_OUT_MAIL', 4);

That's only if you want to customize the style. You can just download a style from here and read this to figure out how to install it.

You need a query to the phpbb_privmsgs table in your database looking for messages where the userID is the same as the current username. The number of results you get is the number there are.

Here are all hte code changes to PHP in each version. Start with the version you are at and work your way through.

Doing this shouldn't destroy anything, but make sure you get a backup of all your files first.

Yes, you MUST have database software. Most hosts that support php have a database, so check.

As for the chmod, I do not know of how to do it in Dreamweaver, but you can use http://www.net2ftp.com/ to connect and chmod the file there
