Re: [Discuss] Announcing Titania, the Customisation Database

If you know of MODs or Styles breaking the guidelines, please let the MOD team know. If you want anything to be improved, you can't expect to say "I found a problem, you have to go and figure out what it is". Imagine if bug reports were submitted like that. Yeah, I found a security vulnerability tha...

Sounds like an excellent feature request. The Titania tracker sounds like the place for it.

Re: [Discuss] Announcing Titania, the Customisation Database

it is a fact that today there are in fact MOD's/Styles/Graphics that are non-GPL available for download in your customizations database. If there are MOD's/Styles in the database that are not released under the GPL v2 or a compatible license, they certainly should be handled. If you are so certain,...

Re: Problem with the forum

Please make a backup of all phpBB files and of your phpBB database, and get a copy of your server's log files. These will be needed to prop...

Regardless, you have made several direct, constructive suggestions to make it better, And I at least can appreciate that.

Re: Discuss: Introducing JIRA – the new bug tracker

So David, I read that to say you are arguing phpBB should move away from github and jira and to assembla? Just want to clarify. For what it's worth, I think this isn't as big a deal as people are making it out to be. The performance is getting better, and the ui is being improved. I (and I say this ...

Re: Discuss: phpBB moves code versioning from Subversion to

wow cool :D so now everyone can contribute, right? Anyone may fork phpBB and if they have an idea, submit a push request via github with their implementation of the code. It can then be considered and possibly included. The phpBB codebase will still be managed by the development team; it will not b...

Re: Discuss: phpBB 3.1 discontinues support for PHP < 5.2

That's basically what you have to do if you want it on Ubuntu now. When 10.4 comes out, they should have 5.3. Sadly not it hadn't migrated from Debian experimental to unstable by the time Ubuntu stopped syncing. We'll get it for 10.10 though. See http://packages.ubuntu.com/source/lucid/php5 Perhaps...
