I'm still having problems... it opens (I'm using win2k) but I can't edit the mod actions. I can move them and create them but they're ust 'BLANK'. I tried right licking, left clicking, dragging, but nothing works.

just a note... your bbcode_strip function need not be so elaborate. no need to verify the URL tag, just check if it's got the uid. This one line shoudl replace them all: $text = preg_replace('#\[.*?:' . $uid . '\]#', '', $text); I haven't tried this but this o something similar should be all you nee...

OK, so I got it working, but I can't change the action... I entered all MOD info, created a new action and it was just blank (also called BLANK). It wouldn't let me change the action at all...

looks like there's lots of good ideas... I'd liek to shed a little light (hopefully) :D in my latest project (although it will be redundant from 2.2) is the user control panel . It uses the same technique as the phpBB2 admin and also Modulated Configuration Mod. there is a central file (usercp.php) ...

OK, moved to support, and I may be able to help. phpBB uses database abstraction layers. I presume you are using the same database type (ie MySQL, MSSQL) as you are for phpBB. You'll need to connect to the new database by initializing a new copy of the sql_db class. something like... $db2 = new sql_...
