Re: [Beta] HotEditor WYSIWYG MOD for phpBB3

@abidjantalkcom: All these are known problems that also I have to endure with. So you didn't do a wrong installation. However, it gives no harm when rechecking you're edits if you're unsure. It's better if you recheck once or twice then to just let it be the way it is. @ace2ace: The table issue can ...

Re: [Beta] HotEditor WYSIWYG MOD for phpBB3

The mod author has decided to wait for the final release, so don't expect any feedback from them until phpBB3 final comes out. For urgent questions you can open a ticket on their website . They also have a live chat every now and then, there you can ask for support or known problems. With kind regar...

Re: Read this if you are experiening problems with RC6

It seems that I am not the only one with this problem. So I hope you guys can solve this?

PS, this error doesnt happen when using the complete RC6 instead of the changed files only.

Re: Read this if you are experiening problems with RC6

Why do I have to use this, if I dont use phpbb3 RC5? I started a clean install from rc6. I have a folder on my server called phpbb3_install_files that I use to copy. otherwise I have to re-upload to test severall settings. I used the updated files that can be downloaded from this site and replaced t...

Re: Read this if you are experiening problems with RC6

I did a fresh upload of all files and did it more then twice with the new phpBB3 RC6 and got this error when trying to install this: General Error SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ] Unknown column 'user_form_salt' in 'field list' [1054] SQL INSERT INTO phpbb_users (username, username_clean, user_password, user_pa...

Re: [BETA] phPKG - MOD installer with repositories & packages

If you are planning on making an auto-update option, please make it so, that you can also disable it :P . I hate automatic updating as it always contains new errors that I first want to check out before installing onto a live forum.

Re: [BETA] phPKG - MOD installer with repositories & packages

It's not a bug - there are just no edits. ;) Those are the best mods, that don't use edits but their own files. Easy to understand, and less problems expecting with integrating with an existing forum. Well done! I hope the phpBB team will acknowledge your mod to their database. Especially when you ...

Re: [Beta] HotEditor WYSIWYG MOD for phpBB3

Dunno. If I use this BBCode when added to the BBCodes in the admin, then it works fine at my site.

Do you have other mods installed? What version of phpBB3 are you using? What version of php are you using? which browser are you using when trying this out?

Re: [BETA] phPKG - MOD installer with repositories & packages

phpBB3 all versions and all mods available are compatible with php5. I have done a simple update on my server while I had phpBB3 installed, and everything still works. Don't know if you also have the same option on your hosting provider, but I can also choose to deactivate it, if I am not happy. So ...

Re: [Beta] HotEditor WYSIWYG MOD for phpBB3

Guy's. Don't know what you're doing wrong, but everything is working great at my site. I use phpBB3 RC5 with MySQL 4 and PHP5. Also used this on PHP4. And even worked on the new CVS RC6. So check your edits. If you are using other mods then it is most likely not working because of that. This mod is ...
