It's exactly what I'm going to do in the future. I'm just waiting for your team to finalize the db schema before integrating everything.

HTTP_GET/POST VARS can only be read if you're passing them to your page through the GET method (embedding them in the URL, usually), or through the POST method using a form and calling your page. But I think this is not what you're looking for. I think that you actually need to include the same head...

chown the directory to nobody.nobody or whatever user your web server runs off with.
and then chmod 755.

That should do the trick.

PSO: I have nothing to say against any of your decisions. Seeing how fast phpBB2 gets developed, I guess you've done a great work.

So, just don't get mad at people criticizing your work. Maybe they don't even know how much effort you've put into it. ;)
