I'd go in via phpmyadmin and verify that the DB is intact. Maybe you somehow overwrote your config.php and your looking to a default DB. Did you move DB's at some point?

If you use a wide logo it will push the menu/links down.

If you create one of a similar size it will look similar. If you are using a modified template It may allow you to have a different logo style I've seen some Mod'd board with a logo at the top the whole lenght of the screen.

Cooleydd - Sorry 'bout our tangent. I'll assume your running your mysql server on a local windows box since your looking to use windows taskmanager to do the backups? If that is the case you can schedule it using the task manager to call a batch file the has this in it: c:\LOCAL_PATH_TO_MYSQL\mysqld...

Use this for the backup: <?php include 'config.php'; include 'opendb.php'; $backupFile = $dbname . date("Y-m-d-H-i-s") . '.gz'; $command = "mysqldump --opt -h $dbhost -u $dbuser -p $dbpass $dbname | gzip > $backupFile"; system($command); include 'closedb.php'; ?> Use these as the input files: <?php ...

Espicom is correct you can do something like this on a windows box as a batch file: Create a file called backup.bat c:\programs\MYSQLDUMP ...

I you have few or no mods just: 1. Copy off your config.php to your local PC. 2. Delete the complete directory. You may leave the images directory if you have a lot of avatars. 3. Download and extract the phpbb 2.0.21 (make sure you check use folders if using winzip) 4. upload all the files/director...

When using winzip there is a check box to allow you to use the directory structure in the zip. Make sure you check that checkbox.

I too prefer winrar.

mawz157, You have to think of it as a layered approach. First and foremost you need to do all of section#2. I started with ConfusaBot Lite as it was easy to implement. I also use Starfoxj's Admintoolkit to delete unwanted users. If that doesn't stop them try the instaban mod Take a look at this link...
