I think it is suppose to be sitemap.xml not sitemap.txt

You can try to use one of the online tools to recreate or update your sitemap as the content changes on your site.

EDIT: here is one you can download: http://gsitecrawler.com/en/download/

Are you using a robots.txt file to limit bot directory searches? Also try Googles link: http://google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/docs/en/about.html Which talks about issues you may have with your site. You can also submit/include a sitemap.xml file in you site to assist goolge with its crawl of your si...

Change Default disabled board message? (Solved)

I'd like to replace the default disabled board message
"Sorry, but this board is currently unavailable. Please try again later."
with something a little more informative. i.e. to include an ETA when it will be back up.

Anyone know where that message is at?

Resolved - Thanks Kevin Clark

Quick anwser is to look at this link: http://www.phpbb.com/support/guide/#section3_1_2

It explains the different forum permissions and how to set them up. You may also want to look into the usergroup section as it will allow you to assign members to it with maybe added permissions.

Create group then in the ACP add a user as the moderator. This will allow that user to be the group moderator and manage the group.

A reinstall will not touch the DB so you won't lose anything. You should always backup any files you are updating for just this reason.

Take a look at your config.php in the root phpbb directory. Make sure it is using the DB username/password and DB name provided by your DB people. If your didn't change the permissions while doin gthe install it would have been able to be written to. Set the permissions on the file to 777 during the...

If it happens only ocasionally I'd check with your hosting provider. It's probably them.
