Re: How to make the forum scroll not the background.

Have you looked at the page source of the site to which you linked to see how they accomplished your desired functionality with the background? Quickly checking their CSS yielded this potentially helpful line defined for the body tag: background:#383735 url(images/background1.jpg) center fixed repea...

Re: Smiley pack generator

While working on a client's phpBB forum recently, I needed to add a ton of new smilies to the client's board. When I discovered how the .pak file had to be formatted line by line for each and every new smiley to be added, I immediately threw aside the option of doing it manually and decided to write...

Re: JQuery UI ThemeRoller

Could you show how you included them in overall_header.html (the code, I mean)? It could be possible that you simply had an incorrect file path specified.

Re: How to install a mod?

Hi, If you're looking for help installing a MOD, this article would be a good place to start: Installing a modification . There are also plenty of resources available to help you learn about MODs on the Modifications page of the website. If you're looking for support for the specific "points shop" M...

Re: Offical phpbb.com mobile app

You want to extend this system (phpBB) ... You must use mobile applications .. because everyone now, not at the pc .. in the hands of everyone, there are tablets or smart phone .. I, personally, have to agree with this wholeheartedly. The mobile platform is gaining momentum faster than anyone would...

The link in the OP is broken.
Sorry about that, the domain that pointed to the file's location on my server has since been sold to a third party. I just uploaded it as an attachment to the topic instead.

Fixed now.

Re: [BETA] Scheduled Posts

This mod works for 3.0.9? The Scheduled Posts MOD was written for compatibility with phpBB version 3.0.7-PL1. I have not attempted to test the MOD for its compatibility with phpBB version 3.0.9, but chances are it will be compatible with 3.0.9, as well. I would try installing it on a local testing ...

Re: phpBB.com Website Feedback

No point in showing language selection w/ one option... :geek: This is not just present on the phpBB.com forums, but also on almost every installation of phpBB3 on the Web. Even if there is only one language installed on a board, it will still display a dropdown box with that one language selected....

Re: Rename User Control Panel link

The title "User Control Panel" only shows up in a few places in phpBB, and if you changed it in your language file, then it will be changed in all of those places. However, that's probably a good thing because it will retain consistency for references to the UCP across your forum. Don't worry, thoug...

Re: Problem with Custom Profile Fields

The get_profile_fields() function checks if the $user->profile_fields array already has values set before it goes to query the database for new values. Thus, if you call the function and define the array, then try to call it again before unsetting the array, it will continue to use the same data tha...
