Re: Facebook is using PunBB?

FB-devs are probably not getting paid that much. :/ I honestly don't think that this is the case, seeing that google gives all its employees a 10% raise to try to prevent them from moving to other companies (including facebook) ;) With promotions like these , who wouldn't want to develop for Facebo...

Re: Fall TV Programming

An update on my House-watching behaviors: I've decided to watch each season in episodic order when I have some free time, starting from Season 1. I think I'm up to episode #8 out of 22 (of Season 1). Already getting addicted to this show, and it's great to understand a lot of what is going on in the...

Thanks for this excellent post, Igor. I am always excited to hear more about how the new hooks system in 3.1 will be revolutionizing MODing for the future. :)

Keep in mind that it is still in the beta stage. That will give them a good amount of time to work out some common bugs before releasing IE9 in the future.

Re: BBcode IMG add width height

If you don't want to MOD a lot of files, then why not just add a new custom BBCode through the ACP? Below are the specifications for a custom BBCode I just created with the tags [fimg][/fimg] ("img" with an "f" in front of it for "flexible"). Just navigate to the Custom BBCodes section of the ACP an...

Re: Users Info

Did you try purging the cache or refreshing the template? I'm a bit unsure of why the variables would not be displaying anything, unless the group you're selecting happened to have no users in it. Since there are no debug errors being relayed, then at least we know that the code should be operational.

Re: Internet Explorer 9

I have to admit, I'm quite impressed with the improvements seen in this first beta. I'm pleased to see that Microsoft has taken a sincere interest in improving their browser.

Re: Users Info

I apologize for the delay, but I've come up with a solution for you. I've rewritten some of the code that I gave you previously. Use the following code in place of all that other code: // The group from which to select users $group_id = 5; // Now, let's get the user_id of each user in this group $sq...

Re: Fall TV Programming

I like House too, but I don't follow it. Sometimes when it's on TV I do watch a episode. :) It's exactly the same for me. I really do enjoy House, but I catch maybe one episode every month. I don't have a lot of time to watch TV, but I would certainly take some time out to see some of the new House...

Re: Users Info

Sorry, I've been quite busy lately and it doesn't seem like it will letup anytime soon. ;)

I'm working on a fix for this, as well as a piece of code that will echo template variables for each bit of information for each user. I'll post it within the week.

Re: First forum you ever joined:

There was this Half-Life 2 Web comic called Concerned that I followed around 5 years ago. After reading through the comic for some months, in 2004 I found their forum and registered (though I can't exactly remember what happened). At the time, it was the first forum I had ever seen, and it happened ...
