Re: how to use submit_pm() to send pms

Glad to see it's almost complete. :) The reason why the smilies are not parsing is because, as you said, the links to the smilies are incorrect. I've tested it on my local phpBB installation and I've discovered the issue. Apparently, the URLs to the smilies are correct only if the script sending the...

Re: how to use submit_pm() to send pms

For sending a PM to multiple recipients, you have the right idea in using an array for the 'address list' value. You would simply change that line to something like this:      'address_list'        => array('u' => array(           $user->data['user_id'] => 'to',           53 => 'to'      )),  All I ...

Re: Main Page Login System

By "carry over to forums", do you mean that it redirects you to the forum but does not actually log you into the forum? Or do you mean that it does not redirect you to the forum after logging in? Do you have the phpBB "header" code in place at the beginning of the main page's file? If not, add this ...

Re: how to use submit_pm() to send pms

I take it the code you posted above is not the exact code employed on your website, correct? The reason I ask is because using the code you posted above would produce a PHP error because of this line:     'from_user_id'             => 2$user->data[user_id]  That line contains obvious syntax errors. ...

Re: Users Info

I've written the following PHP script that should do the trick. There are comments in the code to aid your understanding of it, and I'll also described it in detail lower in the post. ;) // The group from which to select users $group_id = 5; // Now, let's get the user_id of each user in this group $...

Re: [Discuss] Announcing Titania, the Customisation Database

I'm just hoping the the MOD users will use FAQs and support forums very much in future. I could imagine that most of them have some problems to use it. Nathan (EXreaction) and I delivered a presentation about Titania at Libertyvasion this past weekend, and in the presentation we described some of t...

Re: Favorite Posts

There is a topic bookmark feature already available in the default phpBB package. Just scroll down to the bottom of any page of a topic and click the "Bookmark topic" link. You can view the lists of topics that you have bookmarked in the User Control Panel. If you are looking to bookmark individual ...

Re: [BETA] Scheduled Posts

You work on this problem? Honestly, I haven't been able to reproduce this bug on any test installation of phpBB. I understand that others are having this problem, but I just cannot seem to reproduce it in any of my test environments. Therefore, there is no way I can fix it because I can't identify ...

Re: Could not delete old search id sessions

You are running phpBB2. Support for phpBB2 has been discontinued . Any support requests regarding phpBB2 are limited to help with conversion to phpBB3. It appears as though you are using a PHP-Nuke installation of phpBB2, so if you want to convert that forum to phpBB3, then you will need to use this...

Re: [BETA] Scheduled Posts

Other small problem is when i try to change the date of a post, I can´t edit. I change the date but i save the before date... This problem has been reported elsewhere, as well. For some reason, I cannot reproduce this bug no matter what I try. I am thinking that it is a problem with date formats, b...

Re: [BETA] Scheduled Posts

This MOD queries each forum on your index, therefore it can generate a lot of queries. This is my fault, I tried to find a more efficient way to check each forum with less queries but I could not do so without breaking the unread/read forum fix that was necessary for this MOD. Honestly, there are a ...

Re: HTML address of topic

You would need a SEO MOD for that. This is probably what you are looking for. However, please be aware that phpBB does not support that MOD and it has not been validated by the phpBB MOD Team. Any support for that SEO MOD will need to be sought at their website.
