Re: Confusion about sentence in ACP - CPF

Thank you for clarification. I figured out where the problem was. When I create a new CPF then language entries for CPF will be prefilled. But when I delete those some of those entries, it will show me message about translation, as I posted above. If I understand it correctly the whole line could be...

Re: Confusion about sentence in ACP - CPF

Thank you for the replies. Taking this silly example. Your board's default language is French. Your user's language is German. The default CPF definition is English. So if there are no German entries for the definition the English version will be shown to the German user. I was thinking the same, bu...

Confusion about sentence in ACP - CPF

In Custom profile fields settings are Language definitions, where user can define his/her own names for CPF. If your board has more languages than one, you can see following line: Since you have more than one board language installed, you now can change or add the remaining language items too. The p...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

CPFs do not use language strings from the language files but whatever is entered fir that CPF in the CPF lang table. When you create a CPF you have the ability to create the description in any/all languages that are installed on your board. Well, it's interesting, because if I add to CPF "phpbb_int...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

OK. Then they are not translated for some reason (and the same language strings are correct in UCP - Profile). Seems like the strings in CPF are based for some reason on default language of board and not on user language. But whatever language I set (in UCP and ACP) strings in your extension are al...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Thank you for the answers. in UCP and ACP (in Privacy details for...) - I believe that language keys for "Occupation", "Location", "Interests" etc. are loaded from phpBB language files, but they are shown in English even if I switch board to my language. No - they are, or at least should be, the ent...

Re: [3.2][RC] Privacy Policy

Re: Meaning of line in ACP

Thanks everybody for replies. It is interesting discussion. In case someone is interested I translated the sentence: Requires the user that the webserver runs as to be added as trusted user to the sendmail configuration as: It is required that the webserver user is added as a trusted user to the sen...

Meaning of line in ACP

This is a new line in language file en/acp/board.php: This will set the <samp>Return-Path</samp> to the from email address instead of using the local user and hostname of the server. This setting does not apply when using SMTP.<br><em><strong>Warning:</strong> Requires the user that the webserver ru...

Re: [3.1][3.2][DEV] Image Upload

Amazing! Will there be a feature for users to manage their own images? This was a mod a while back on a board I had seen... Every user was displayed a dropdown of all his/her previously uploaded images to pick from in the event they needed to re-post the images (or lost the link between the time th...

It only supports usernames.
Thank you for your answer. Is it mean that users will not be able to use their own form of user's name?

Example: leschekovi

Re: [3.2][DEV] Simple mentions

Added a very early version on github. Currently it works by using USERNAME or USER_ID. In the coming weeks I will add a javascript frontend so @USERNAME can be used. Will there be option to use BBCodes in this way: user's name or [me...
