You need allow_url_fopen directive. Got this sorted and ext now working and looking good. However there is one issue. I have added four sub categories to one of my main ones but only three of the four are showing in the parent category Is there a limit to how many can be displayed or is there a set...

Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts

Is this ext ever going to be released? It has been in dev since we moved from 3.0 to 3.1. I used to use this on 3.0 and is very good and would love to see it released on 3.1 Obviously I can't answer that question, but I can say that, I (and I'm sure a lot of others) have been using this ext on my l...

Thanks for the reply but it doesn't help :(

I have opened ext.php with I.E. but it means nothing to me, I don't understand it and don't know what I need to do.

Re: [RC] PhpBB Directory

I decided to try this extension however when I try and enable it I get the following message - "The selected extension cannot be enabled, please verify the extension’s requirements." Are there any special requirements that I'm not aware of? All other extensions have been enabled without a problem. I...

Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts

I am not able to thank anybody (thanks icon not showing in posts), I have checked for permissions...

Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts

I don't know if this helpful but, I have just noticed that the "Has Thanked" and "Been Thanked" statistics were successfully migrated and show in the uses profile fields.

Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts

There is no 'Misc Tab' under 'groups forum permissions' From what version of MOD for phpBB 3.0 did you migrate? I have no way of knowing now; I don't have any copies of my phpBB 3.0 board to refer to. I have always tried to keep all mods and phpBB versions up to date so I can only assume that it wo...

Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts

About permissions https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=14153331#p14153331 Permissions should apper under the groups forum permissions at the Misc tab (f.e. Can thank for posts), please recheck that. There is no 'Misc Tab' under 'groups forum permissions' and in the 'Misc Tab' under 'foru...

Re: [DEV] Thanks for posts

On a different tack. I have decided to try this on my board and it has installed and been enabled without errors and I have migrated the data from my old mod on 3.0.12 The list of 'Top 50 Thanks' shows at the bottom of the home page and the number of thanks a user has made and received shows in thei...

I'm waiting for stable version. ;)
This one of the 'Mods' I miss the most from my 'old' board and I am really hoping this will be validated and released very soon.

Re: How to set "Notify me upon replies by default:" to yes by default

Code changes to 3.1 are not recommended. Changes should be handled by using extensions. Having said that, the changes in this article for 3.0, in regard to user notifications, should still work in 3.1, Changing user options defaults and values . I have changed the 'notify' setting as described in -...

Re: Some users complain about not staying logged in

I had a similar problem with some of my users. They were all using iPads and changing their browser from Safari to Chrome cured the problem.

Do you know what devices/Op Sys/browsers your users are using? Is there a common theme?
