Re: Placing adsense between announcement and other topics

I don't have the time to look into it at the moment, but take a look at the file which displays the forums styles/{your style}/template/forumlist_body.html

Re: Modifying Forum Layout

The general layout for that page is in the forumlist_body.html file. You would need to reposition 2 different parts to get what your after. Find & Cut: <dd class="lastpost"><span>{L_LAST_POST}</span></dd> Add, before: <dd class="topics">{L_TOPICS}</dd> Find & Cut: <dd class="lastpost"><span> <!-- IF...

Re: Forum Rules

You will need to edit the CSS files. Open: styles/absolution/theme/colours.css Find: div.rules { In-line find: (not the whole line/section) background-color: #FFFFCC; & border-color: #FFDE5B; Change the HTML Colour code for whatever colour you need. - http://html-color-codes.info/ Save, upload, purg...

Re: Banner Problem!

I don't know that style, but this instruction is based on Prosilver, you might need to make slight adjustements, depending on the style your using. Before you do any file edits, MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF ALL FILES , & a backup of your Database. Open: style/{your style}/template/overall_header.html Find:...

Re: [How To] Modify prosilver's header

You're OK, TheSnake, except for that biting part... ;) That's usually reserved for the ladies :D  Did you get your code un-fubared? (In reference to this post.) No, unfortunately not. I made some code edits just prior to that post, but since then I haven't been able to get it to auto-reload on...

Re: [How To] Modify prosilver's header

whether it can succeed ..... because I already tried it and did not work or there are mistakes that I made. sorry I just want to learn. I've done most of the ones specified in the first page of this topic. Yes, it can take a little while to get used to the code layout, & editing without making mist...

Re: [Release] Supernova (phpBB 3.0.8)

thanks, this was exactly what i am searching for, but 45 pages of posts on this supernova theme make it extremely difficult to read. :geek: and to find THE adequate information in it. I suggest Christian to build a little forum or a wiki concerning this theme, thanks, anyway. That is exactly what t...

OK, no worries.

jknetdesign, I'm going to be looking into the code shortly, make a post over in the Style's Discussion/Support section, I'll update with what I've got by then.

Statistics: Modification needed

I have the Genders Mod installed, & already posted in the Support Topic, but as yet still no answer to my post. In the standard Statistics, the total users does not include the amount of Bots in the Spiders/Robots list. The Genders Mod has an edit to show the amount of M, F & X (X = unspecified) reg...

Thanks Pony, I only did a quick search & replace test b4 heading out a while. I agree your code is aesthetically better.

Re: Pro Ubuntu Lucid - Header Size

Try this: Before you do any file edits, MAKE A BACKUP COPY OF ALL FILES , also make a backup of your Database. Open: pro_ubuntu_lucid/template/overall_header.html Find: <div id="site-description"> Add, before: (on a new blank line) <div style="height: 377px;"> Find: <a href="{U_SEARCH}" title="{L_SE...

Re: [How To] Modify prosilver's header

As long as the style is Prosilver based, following the guide in the beginning of this topic should be straightforward. Look in the template file, basically <dl> & <dt> is prosilver, <tr> & <td> is subsilver. It should still work for Subsilver, just adding some changes to comply with subsilver styling.

Re: Pro Ubuntu Lucid - Header Size

Dreamweaver is known for causing alot of problems to the files themselves, even just during ftp upload. I don't know FireFTP or JEdit, but if they work for you, they should be ok. One of the Code Editors recommeded by phpBB Staff is Notepad++, my previous code editor was screwing up with a couple is...
