Re: guest visitors have full access

As Steve said, double check the Permission Mask on the User "Anonymous". Once you have done that, whether or not that is the cause, it would be a good idea for you to check both Groups Permissions as well as Groups Forum Permissions. Groups permissions basically decide what any user can do on the fo...

Re: Cannot centre logo/nav menu

Ah, I saw that, however if i move it from -2px to 0px, it leaves a white line between the logo and the nav bar, which I am not so keen on. I think I will leave it as the lesser of two evils! Thanks though :) -1px ??? No worries, it's looking really good now anyway. I'm a bit of a perfectionist at h...

Re: Solved topic tick icon like this forum

The Mod Pit$bull linked to looks useful to what your after, but if you don't want to go down the route of a MOD, add the topic icon tick image to your images/icons/misc folder. In ACP -> Posting add a new Topic Icon, the tick will already show up. In a topic when it is solved, either a Moderator or ...

Re: Cannot centre logo/nav menu

Just a little edit left, just before you did what I recommended, I saw you had managed to drop the navbar down a few pixels, since killing the Table, the navbar has jumped back up a few pixels again. It is the right position in relation to the left margin, just tweak the css to drop the top margin b...

Re: Can google read members profile links?

Permissions... It all depends what permissions you have set to BOTs as well as guests, some BOTs may not have been set as BOT, so just visiting as a guest although they are a BOT, however most of Google bots should be set as active bots on a default board setup. It just depends what forums the topic...

Re: guest visitors have full access

Double check the Groups Forum Permissions for the Guests group, compare the permissions between the website & the localhost version on your computer.

Re: Cannot centre logo/nav menu

Another suggestion for you, I see you have managed to move the navbar down, looking at the code, you have the navbar within a DIV, but that is then inside a Table as well. The table is not necessary, remove the table & just edit the css for the DIV. The alignment should then come through easily enou...

Re: Cannot centre logo/nav menu

Yes, you're getting there, the header/banner now matches the site width. You could still do with repositioning the Navbar slightly lower & to the left.

This topic [How To] Modify prosilver's header might be of some help for what your trying to do.

Re: Guest Permissions - so Confused

Site needs some pages sorted, the default page is showing. Once a visitor (guest) registers on your site, & you activate their account, they become an active registered user. From what you're describing, edit the Registered Users permissions to what you only want unpaid members to have access to. Se...

Re: pbpbb installation problem~~~help!!

You need to speak to your host, it looks like PHP is not being parsed. Either php is not installed on the server, or it is not functioning correctly.
