are you editing the files through the ACP or with a text editor?
have you tried clearing your browser's cache?

Re: Preventing Spam in 3.0 [*Read First Post*]

quack, that is a problem with using the 'dropdown box' profile field, which is pretty much useless for preventing spam, imo. the same problem has also been discussed on this board. :) however, if you use the 'numbers' profile field, you can set it to have only one right answer - 3. enter the questio...

Re: why do i need to input password each time?

each time i access the page, it needs me to input passwords. i'm running into this on the "browser mmorpg 'catagory'" and the "stratagy browser games 'forum'". go to ACP, Forums, Manage forums, Settings, and make sure that your browser has not auto-filled the password box. .. side note. i find it s...

Re: StreetFire Embed BBCode Problem

okay, well i'm stumped. the only things i can suggest now are trying the full embedding code, or asking on that site for help embedding the videos.

Re: StreetFire Embed BBCode Problem

the only two things wrong with it that i saw, i've mentioned. you could try removing the whole snippet of code i posted at the end of my previous post. that's the only hyperlink code i see.

Re: StreetFire Embed BBCode Problem

well, hmm.. it's probably not going to work if you don't use the full embed code. here's what i get for embedding a video. <object width="368" height="500" classid="[removed]" id="[removed]"><param name="movie" value="http://videos.streetfire.net/flash/SPlayer.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flas...

Re: StreetFire Embed BBCode Problem

Code: Select all

<a href="http://videos.streetfire.net/video/{TEXT2}</a>
the </a> code is not the problem. the problem is right before it. you're missing the "> after the text token, to close the <a code. :)

Re: Custom BBCodes

Works great as long as the user has a www in their URL. However, if they leave it out, then it shows a jacked up link on the post. Any way to make it tolerant of both www and w/o? iirc, you change the "www." to a token. [youtube]http://{SIMPLETEXT1}youtube.com/watch?v={SIMPLETEXT2}[/youtube] <objec...

I think this should be posted on Request modifications forum .. 3.0.x Support Forum Get help with installation and running phpBB 3.0.x here. Please do not post bug reports, feature requests, or MOD-related questions here. lucky's right. since this apparently has nothing to do with the phpbb core pa...

Re: Custom BBCodes

Hi, Does anyone know how to make the following mp3/podcast player bbcode accept urls with gaps between letters ? my best guess is that the problem lies with the spaces needing to be url encoded. try using "%20" for each gap/space, and see if that works. one'd think that the {URL} token should take ...

Re: Remove the Read/Unread Topic Icon

if this is what i think it is, edit each forum and make sure that your browser is not auto-filling the image and password fields. they need to be blank.
if that's not it, can you explain what you want in more detail, please?
