the bit at the beginning about keeping hidden users hidden didnt work for me, is there a line missing? it says select all but theres nothing to select? :?

Apologies if i bump my old thread, but I have not put this into practice and now I have tried to resolve this tonight and what you suggested by changing the common file does work but it screws my forum and once i have logged in once i then get a message that says you do not have permissions to acces...

Thats what I thought but the images arent showing;

eg my image location for my test forum image is:
/test_forum/images/tiger1.jpg
yet the image shows up as a white box with a red cross in it and i have purged the cache?

Hi, how Do i put an image on my forum here: Location, relative to the phpBB root directory, of an additional image to associate with this forum. eg what folder does it need to go in? normally on my sites images go in the images folder but the image doesnt display still when i put it in this folder e...

I found a mod which adds users to groups after so many posts. With regards to my other question about what the users will see, eg cannot read this forum until you have posted x amount of times, is this not possible by just editing a file?

ok. I thought it would of been just a case of editing the files thar said you dont have the required access etc. I will have a look through the mods too then.

When you set the permissions for users that dont yet have the required permissions to view an area yet. it says, roughly, 'You cannot read part of this forum etc.' Can it be made to say 'you need to post x amount of times before you can read this forum' If ...

It seems it works ok in ff not Ie so i enabled javascript and is all now working - Thank you very much prototech :D

Smilies Problem

On my forum, I have installed a new smiley pack and i can see the smilies ok but when i click on one it does nothing and they dont appear on the thread i posted on. Im on the latest version of phpbb and i have refreshed the style i am using but still not working, any help appreciated.
