Re: Moderation Queue Question

Do'oh!

I just figured it out.

I'd forgotten that i started with another domain name in '02 and then switched in '06. I kept the original phpBB tables under the old domain. They still reside there.

All the tables exist in filesite.org.

I'll look for the topics table now.

Sorry about all that!!!

Re: Moderation Queue Question

That's what I was wondering also, except, I did a SQL dump and only see those tables.

Re: Moderation Queue Question

Thanks for checking. The prefix is "fs_" and there are listed 29 tables. fs_acl_groups fs_acl_options fs_acl_roles fs_acl_roles_data fs_acl_users fs_attachments fs_banlist fs_bbcodes fs_bookmarks fs_bots fs_config fs_confirm fs_disallow fs_drafts fs_extensions fs_extension_groups fs_forums fs_forums...

Re: Moderation Queue Question

Yeah, it is very odd. I used to be quite familiar with the phpBB structure. At one point I was running three sites with phpBB. This is my last one - almost ten years now. The prefix I use has always been fs_. I just don't see a fs_topics table. Could something have changed a few years back when conv...

Re: Moderation Queue Question

Thank you for your answer.

I switched to prosilver and got the same message when deleting - "you are not authorized..."

As for the topics, yes. There seems to be no topics table. There used to be under PHPbb 2.x if I recall.

Moderation Queue Question

I am wondering what is going on. I have my board setup to moderate new posts from new users. In October, I noticed a user posting multiple spam posts. (I have teh question/challenge on registration, which has all but eliminated bots.) I deleted the user but cannot delete the posts. My question is - ...

Re: Message: Permissions Transferrred?

Oh, I got it.

I've deleted users through mysql before. Not usually my first option, but haven't so far caused any issues. I have a query i run based on the ones run from the ACP.

Re: High server load

Sorry for the confusion. I'm using godaddy for domain registration and hostgator for hosting.

The site has been up for almost a day now. We'll see how it goes.

Re: viewtopic.php being reported as causing high server load

Apparently the support tech doesn't know anyone using PHPbb.
Off the top of my head Kai, I dont. I couldnt name a single site we have using phpbb at this time as a majority use vbulletin.

I didn't know anyone used something OTHER than PHPbb.

Re: viewtopic.php being reported as causing high server load

They haven't suggested a VPS yet.

However, I did ask that they tell me how many others are having the same issue.

I also mentioned that the "fix" is listed with PHPbb 2.x and I've been on 3.x for more than a year.

Okay, done.

I'm using hostgator currently.

I might want to look at switching. I've been fine with HG for several years, but this is annoying.

Re: High server load

Out of curiosity, is tehre any further action on this? My website got the same thing. I was running 3.0.7-PL1 (?) and was told viewtopic.php is an offending page. I then upgraded to 3.0.8 and was told an hour later the same issue. The site is almost ten years old and this is fairly new. The hos - go...
