Re: Remove <br /> tag after IMG bbcode & wrap image w/ div

Man apparently I need more energy drinks.

To get rid of the <br />, I just needed to put the images all on one line in my post. Good ol' nl2br ;)

Remove <br /> tag after IMG bbcode & wrap image w/ div

Hello, I'd like to modify phpbb so that the images that are displayed via BBcode do not have a <br /> tag following them. Instead, I'd like to wrap the image with a div so that I can have CSS control over the image display. Here's an example of why I need to do this ... http://www.seibertron.com/ene...

Re: [Help] Multiple Forums with Single User DB

I have just successfully created 2 forums in a single database sharing users without any permissions problems. Im going to do a writeup on it in the next few days and publish it here, whilst it wont allow you to use multiple databases, it may give you the information you need to go that extra step....

Yeah, i'm still waiting for this as well. Hoping that a proper mod can come out for this rather than me trying to hack together a bunch of sites.

Re: How to rewrite ebay links?

One of the eBay Partner Network members provided me with a link to a mod that does this on vBulletin, hence why I'm still surprised this hasn't been done for phpBB yet. vBulletin has had this available since 2007. http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=144214&highlight=ebay I'm in the p...

Re: How to rewrite ebay links?

This topic is pretty old but it isn't solved yet. Any idea how to rewrite the ebay links correctly? I'm looking for a solution for this as well. I'm disappointed that no one has come up with a solution for this yet. You'd think someone would have come up with a solution to rewrite links into affili...

Re: Upload Multiple Attachments at Once

Was a solution ever presented for this? The default phpbb3 method of upload files is a pain. It'd be nice to be able to upload multiple files at once.

General Error Could not open template/user_activate.txt

I'm attempting to refresh the Prosilver template after making some changes this evening. I am receiving the following error after clicking "refresh" for the Prosilver template in the admin section. Any ideas?

Re: [Help] Multiple Forums with Single User DB

You may have a look in the topic Help with forums sharing same database. . It gives directions on how to share a user database over several forums. I'm basically looking for this modification as well. I read through all 6 pages at http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?p=3087439#p3087439, and...

Cursor position after using BB Code buttons

I noticed when I highlighted a word on phpBB.com in the textarea when editing or adding a post, that the word stayed highlighted after clicking any of the BB Code buttons such as "Img", "URL", etc. On my website, the cursor moves to the position immediately following the closing ...

Re: Why do users start with an ID of 2?

Please note that you do any of my suggestions below at your own risk. I'd recommend doing this in a test environment first before doing this to a live site. I have a phpBB forum that I've been running since 2002. I use the users table as the primary users table throughout my entire website and non-...

Re: Modifiying mail headers to include sender's name

This works in 3.0.6, couldn't comment on anything older: Open: /includes/functions_messenger.php Find: // We could use keys here, but we won't do this for 3.0.x to retain backwards compatibility $headers = array(); $headers[] = 'From: ' . $this->from; Replace with: // We could use keys here, but we...
