I've tried searching on these forums with two different browsers and all i get after submitting the search is a blank page.

I can see how that would become a nightmare for moderators. Was there a captcha system or something like that in place at the time?

Are there any plans to add a forum where users can showcase websites they have created using phpBB and get feedback from other users?

Are there any mods that don't require hacking the core files? There are a lot of hacks needed to get style_select working and it makes upgrading a pain.
