When im quering newest topics (default) from forum with 112288 topics inside, query took ~0.1 sec,
When im quering oldest topics (last page of topics) from forum with 112288 topics inside, query took ~7.6 sec

How to tweak this, that oldest topics are quick accesible like newest.

Searching this mod

We specify some nick in ACP and this user will have password replaced by generated new password which will be send to his e-mail.

Im sure there is mode like this in database, but can't find it, someone help?

hi, when u click search all users post i got first page of his posts, but when i want see next pages its writed "we cannnot find posts with this criteria". It looks to me like lanzer had (or still has?) 4 queries: one to get post ids, then post text, then user ids, then userdata. Its possible, why? Its a method to minimize slave servers lag. More queries but simplier. I read about this some time ago, its for us 1 server forums useless for now. Too man...

Hmm, i only tweak for mysql, i dont expect switch ever DBMS so i only tweak for this specific board. But u are right, this query is used ~300-500 a day... its not so great but its still gain. u should read whole topic, then u will find what u need... and most imporant u will learn how to do it
im finding till now usefull hacks and advices in this topic, and when i find something on my own i post it here
