SciTe is in my view. Search for it and you'll find something called Scintilla. The file is only 420kb, and it is very good, so much so I prefer it than the programs that I have paid for.

The forum uses percentages (stated in overall_header.tpl), which should resize to whatever resolution you have.

If you want to alter it, alter the table in that.

Alter overall_header.tpl. The header image is called phpbb_logo.gif.

You could give yourself moderator priveledges I believe so that you can moderate something - despite being an admin. Just alter your forum permissions.

You only can do that if you modify phpBB 2.0.4 with a mod, or if you can wait you could do it in phpBB22, but then again we have no idea when that will come out. There is a mod out there, try the Mods section (look up there).

Quick question are you hosting your forum at coolfreepages?

If so there are compatibility issues with that.

You can't delete the admin - only other admins (may) be able to do it, nor can you demote yourself either.

config.php is meant to be empty - it is filled up when you complete the installation.

Using MySQL is easier to set up than MS Access, if your host provides that, I would recommend you use that. Make sure that your host has provided you with the correct information.
