Re: Wrong action

That was to make sure I was getting the action, when it wasn't doing the right action, however now, it doesn't even do the action.

Re: Wrong action

Ok, I have now changed that. Anyway: When I try to update news, I click edit, and the current data is in the post fields. I then click the submit button, I get the message the the update was successful, how nothing has changed. Nothing is being saved into the database. If I try and add a new one, it...

Re: Wrong action

It is something to do with:

Code: Select all

                    $sql = 'UPDATE ' . POSTS_TABLE . ' SET ' . $db->sql_build_array('UPDATE', $sql_ary) .
                        " WHERE post_id = $post_id";
but can't work out what..

Thanks

Updated code: <?php /** * * @package acp * @author Nick Rhodes * @copyright 2008 * */ /** * @package acp */ class acp_news { var $u_action; function main($id, $mode) { global $db, $user, $auth, $template; global $config, $phpbb_root_path, $p...

Automatically create template

hi,
Is it possible to automatically create a template file, when a user clicks something that in my case will say "add page", as I have a script which will automatically call it with a certain ID?

Thanks

Re: Wrong action

I kind of did..

When trying to edit and entry, when I click save, it just creates a new entry instead of saving it to the current one. What is wrong?

Wrong action

When trying to edit something, it just adds a new entry to the db: <?php /** * * @package acp * @author Nick Rhodes * @copyright 2008 * */ /** * @package acp */ class acp_news { var $u_action; function main($id, $mode) { global $db, $user, $auth, $template; global $config, $phpbb_root_path, $phpbb_a...

Re: Template Assigning

So now the problem is that I get more than one thing from the DB query.. In other words I get this: From menu_title I get "Home" and "Forum" and from menu_link I get "index.php" and "/forum/" However in the template I only get one of these. The updated code: function get_menu() { global $db, $auth, ...
