Template Assigning

Can't find an answer to this: index.php <?php /* * Index page */ define('IN_PHPBB', true); $phpbb_root_path = (defined('PHPBB_ROOT_PATH')) ? PHPBB_ROOT_PATH : 'forum/'; $phpEx = substr(strrchr(__file__, '.'), 1); include ($phpbb_root_path . 'common.' . $phpEx); include ('includes/class_page.php'); /...

Re: I'm converting the hard way. please help me!

Don't quote me on this but two different MySQL versions can't go well.
MySQL version 5.0.45-community
MySQL version 4.1.22-standard
I am pretty sure they are both compatible with each other. But just in case they aren't..

Re: SQL Error - HELP!

I'm no expert but isn't something wrong with:

Code: Select all

user_flag = AND user_id = 57
Just after user_flag = AND ?

Admin / User Permissions

Is there an equivalent for admin to:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_USER_LOGGED_IN -->
For clarification. Like:

Code: Select all

<!-- IF S_ADMIN_LOGGED_IN -->

Thanks

This is the code I have inside it: <?php /*************************************************************************** * viewtopic.php * ------------------- * begin : Saturday, Feb 13, 2001 * copyright : (C) 2001 Th...

Long topics

Hi,
I was just wondering, for a forum with about 50 users, does having a few posts with 500 posts in them make the database slower? Like does it put a lot of strain on the database?

THanks

56k

Hi,
I am looking for a MOD which will help 56k users get quicker loading times, ie by making all pictures links and so on. This would be able to be set in the profile.

Thanks

Forum Hyperlink

Hi,
I know there is a MOD so that you can make a forum a hyperlink, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone point me to it?

Thanks

I used the newpage.php template to set up a new page. It has worked fine. The only thing it won't do, is redirect to the log in page if the viewer isn't registered. Why is this happening? Do you have it set up with a permission of "Registered"? Otherwise by default it will be available to the publi...
