Re: [RC] Advanced Topic Type

This mod needs to be removed as no one is providing help for it anymore. I have had this mod installed, and everything shows correctly in acp--no error messages--however when I try to pick one of my new topic types when posting a message, it posts as a normal post instead of TIPS or whatever type I...

Re: Guest Permissions and Forum Settings

Okay I can get that cookies haven't been updated, but why is it showing me a folder name and not just 'forum index' for most of theese people? They cannot view any of our folders being a guest, just the outside of the forum (the same thing you would see if you went to the site in my signature)..so w...

Guest Permissions and Forum Settings

I have the Guest Permissions hack installed, although that is not my problem. All of our boards are set in Simple Mode as Registered(hidden). This is suppose to mean that any anon user (guest) who has not registered and been approved cannot see our boards. Why is it that when I go to our Admin CP, a...

Re: Birthdays

Hi Terra, we were able to approve you with no problem. But just last night after I sent this message we had a problem with a new member. We tried to approve her twice and each time it told us her birthdate not entered when we tried to approve her. When we put in a month and a day it worked. I am not...

Re: Birthdays

Birthdays are being required when the option is selected to NO in the admin cp under config. Its happened a few times now, if the member does not designate a birthdate (month and day) we are not able to activate them until we add information for them. It simply tells us 'birthdate not entered'. I am...

Looking for delete post without lowering post count mod

I had this mod installed previously and need to re-install it since we moved, but I cannot find it. Its a mod for deleting message posts without lowering the posters post count. So if they had 200 messages and I deleted one of them, they would still have 200 instead of 199. Thanks if you can help me...

Is it possible to undo sql functions?

I performed 2 sql functions and now I wish to remove them. The file I ran to install the sql functions via my browser looks like: <?php $sql = array ( 0 => INSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_value) VALUES (\'color_mod\', \'ffffff\')', 1 => IINSERT INTO phpbb_config (config_name, config_va...

Looking for PHPBB hosting, affordable with FTP access

We have had a forum setup since February of this year. We have close to 200 members and its a PSP community so having storage space is a must for us. We have tons of mods and themes installed and would like to be able to import them all to a new host. We also own our own domain name. Most of the sit...

Re: Invalid Session. Please resubmit the form

One of my management team members has been getting the same 'invalid session' message, but it just started a few days ago as she never had the problem before. We have not installed or updated any mods in about 3 months. She did click the 'remember me' box when she logged in and she has cleaned out h...

Re: Birthdays

Thanks so much Terra, I just removed the line POSTER_AGE as you stated and it went away just fine. Much easier than trying to figure it all out again.

Re: Birthdays

Is there anyway to take the Age line out of the members posts? I still have never figured out why all the members ages are showing as 0 even when they are allowing their age to show and have the date set appropriately. In the memberslist their age is showing correctly, but when they post all ages ar...

Re: Birthdays

I could have sworn that I posted on this thread yesterday to let you know how it worked out. I took the coding that you gave me compiled it to a php file, uploaded it to my server and ran it via my browser, thats when I got all those error messages. Thats the same way I run all my sql functions. I u...

Re: Birthdays

I would but I am pretty sure I don't have the ablity to do that, I would have to get in touch with my FTP host. I can only sign myself into the FTP portal and am not able to create any new id's even if they are temporary.
