Re: Updating to 3.0.7 ( {S_LOGIN_REDIRECT} )

I had a similar issue with my login in my overall_header.html file for a single, global login. From what I've seen, S_LOGIN_REDIRECT only redirects the user to the previous page. It's a hidden input, so you don't see it visually on the form. You must, however, place the code before </form> in order ...

Email Settings: (PHP based) e-mail service vs. SMTP

I'm on the verge of optimizing my forums for scalability and I need to know a few things about the emails sent by phpBB. I can setup both services, but which has better performance? Which gets sent to the junk/spam folders? Which, overall, is better in your opinion? Anything else I should know about...

Modifying default BBcodes

I want to edit the HTML for the (italics) BBcode to have the HTML replacement be <em>{TEXT}</em> instead.

Re: Total Members Stopped Incrementing

That actually didn't prevent users from registering, but it worked in fixing the stats error.

Total Members Stopped Incrementing

http://www.zerozaku.com/index.php - My Forum The total users are displayed on the sidebar. The total members and newest user is stagnant regardless of how many new users register. According to my database, I'm supposed to have 400 total users, but the total members stopped at 322. Also, the memberl...

Why do users start with an ID of 2?

Just something I've noticed is that the first user, myself, the admin, has an id of 2 rather than 1. Is there any reason for this choice? Would there be any consequences by setting a user to have an id of 1?

Re: Adaptive Hide BBcodes

Doesn't work while doing Advanced Searches since they strip BBcode from the searches. Any hotfixes?

Re: Styling Banned Usernames

Thanks RMcGirr, but now there's an issue about banned IPs and porting the BAN TEST across all pages with usernames, but I think I can fix these myself. I'll post back when I have a fix for it.

Logging who voted on a poll.

I know that there is a feature in IPB that enables mods/admins to check which users voted on a specific poll. Is there such a feature in phpBB? All I can find are the vote results but not who.
