Re: Categorize Announcements and Stickies

I've been using it with 3.0.5. since its release. I upgraded through the previous phpBB versions and it just carried on working. :)

Re: Custom BBCodes

You can with that one. Just nest your other BBcodes within it. Here's a daft posting from my forum using a few effects with it: Scrolling rainbow text.

Re: Custom BBCodes

This is a complete waste of time I'm afraid. Hasn't anyone ever heard of a screen grab? There is absolutely no way you can prevent images being taken from a web page.

Hi, i'll like to add a custom bbcode that makes text scroll all the way across your screen.

See the top posting on page 144 of this thread.

Re: User Blog Mod

When I try to open the downloaded zip file I get the message "This archive is not a valid zip archive". I'm using Coffee Cup to open it. :?

Re: Custom BBCodes

You'll have to search this thread for yourself, but there is definitely a scroll left and right BB Code here somewhere because I'm using it myself. :) Can you post what is in your ACP please? Now why didn't I think of that! :? [scrollleft]{TEXT}[/scrollleft] <span><marquee direction="left"...

Re: After 3.0.5 additional smilies will not link

It's happening to me too at http://www.eastlondonforum.com

The smiley code just gets printed to the top of the pop-up window instead of the text area of the main window.

Re: Custom BBCodes

When you are making a post, click the URL button. That will give you [url][/url] Between the end bracket of the first tag insert "=your link" and close the bracket. Then put "click here" (or anything you like) between the brackets, like this: [url=http://your link here]Click here...

OK. Finally got it sorted and updated, with a few minor problems due to mod files being overwritten. Just a few code tweaks needed. :)

Re: Problems upgrading from 3.0.4 to 3.0.5

barryoneoff, i got yours, and yours is incomplete for some really. Only a few directories are included, but iam not able to extract them. Looks like a memory issue or something caused it. Can you remove the // before DEBUG and DEBUG_EXTRA and try to make a zip again to see if you get a error? jetsk...

Re: How reliable is auto-update?

I have a few mods installed. I'll have to get another zip file, I've trashed the others. Will forward shortly.

Re: How reliable is auto-update?

When I try the FTP option I get the error that the path from the root seems to be incorrect (the path is simply /public_html), and when I try the download method my Coffee Cup software tells me it is not a recognised .zip format.
