Additional Logo on forum header.

Hi All, I am using Static Blue Theme - and I am trying to add an additional image at the top on the right hand side. www.broker.ukushosting.com is the test board. As you can see there is lots of black space to the right. All I want to do is add an image to site on the right hand side in line with th...

Re: [DEV] RSS Input

OK - I have solved the above - I forgot to add the group in ACP - my bad :( All looks well - Tables are in place, no errors - but more importantly no posts coming through. I have read through the entire forum with no success - I must be doing soemthing wrong. I have edited my post as I made curl wor...

External RSS Feeds into my forum

OK - I can see few people have tried and ended a number of MODS for this but none have ever made full release or are supported. So basically - I would like to see a MOD that you can pull RSS feeds from other sites and have them posted into a specifed forum/thread. As I say - I can people came close ...

Re: [DEV] RSS Input

Love the sound of this mod - but getting stuck. I have the lastest version, 3.0.7-PL1 - and I installed via AutoMod - it all seems to go well and runs SQL etc. I then go to ACP create a new Bot, no problem. You can manage your feeds from GENERAL - BOARD CONFIGURATION -> RSS Import Settings by now I ...

Good Work Smix. Good luck with the core changes in Jan. If you need a "tester" - let me know I would be more than happy to help if I can.

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.4)

Excellant news Smix. I'm sure myself and others are looking forward to it. You say "no more last rss" - does this mean you are dropping the MOD for a new MOD altogether? Lastly, im trying to feed from phpbb (http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewforum.php?f=14) but when I check it with Feed Validator -...

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.4)

Can someone tell me if these are valid urls for the mod http://rvsitebuilder.com/faqweb/feed/topten/rss.php http://www.phpbb.com/community/feed.php?f=14 I have the mod working on a feed with issues - added two new tables, purged the cache but no feeds are pulled - no error logs either. PS - Is there...

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.4)

Just noticed a little bug (erroe I made maybe).

The posts are going in well with no problem - but when I look at the index it shows last post yesterday (for the thread for the feed) despite there being posts this morning....

Re: Advice on Joomla - Phpbb and Websites

Thanks Robert - much appreciated. I have done some more digging with relation to CMS and if I have understood things correctly - Joomla would be ideal for say networks sites etc - right? If I have that correct it suits me - I like the ideal of keeping phpbb very seperate from "other" software durign...

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.4)

Ignore me - I forced it (changed time interval to 0) and it is working great here http://www.ukusclan.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=79

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.4)

Yes sir - I did that straight away. I have left the time interval at default - maybe I need to let the time elapse first. Is there a away I can force it now?

PS - Great mod - and great to see you support it Smix. Hope its validated with no issues.

Re: [DEV] lastRSS autoposting bot MOD (0.1.4)

I have installed this and it is working perfectly well - except something I am doing wrong I think. It has been posting nicely overnight - but last thing I did change the User ID to a new user I have setup. However it is still posting under the old user which was setup to test it. I have check the t...

Re: Advice on Joomla - Phpbb and Websites

Ok so there no real advantage in using Joomal over raw html or wysiwyg software then. OK that is kind of what I needed to know - would joomla enhance a site by being in php rather than html - I guess not from what you are saying - which makes perfect sense.
