I copied root/bots.php To: bots.php on my system and again I copied root/language/en/mods/bots.php To: language/en/mods/bots.php on my system. After coping these files I opened my locally hosted forum and checked spiders/ro...

Re: things wrong with 3.0

you know it isn't like it you CAN'T open them in a new window, so seriously i don't know why your complaining.

if you want it in a new window or tab, ALL you have to do is right click on the link and select your option

if this is the ajax chatbox by Handyman` I know he had that issue of that before, you might want to ask about it in the mod's topic.

How will i create this Modx file?

This is the file with .xml extension that we open to install MODs right?

Is it a software generated or hard coded?

Thanks
both, some hardcode it for the info.

Fact: Opening links in new windows has never been the default option, but it was an option that web designers could use . The default behaviour has always been to open links in the same window. Re: Webwiz 9.51 to phpBB 3.0

ok, well that will be one issue, I know when i looked at converting mine to phpbb i had access to, and found a access to mysql convertor online somewhere, but i never did try it,

but phpbb runs from mysql, not access, so you may want to check with your host that you have a mysql DB

Re: things wrong with 3.0

just adding my 2 cents

you can always right click the link and select it to open in a new window or tab

also, if the links were forced to be opened in a new window, some pop-up blockers would probably block the pop-ups

me, I personally HATE more than one window open at a time, I just use tabs
