Yes, bbGeSHi works in private messages, moderator control panel, there is default syntax and no, firefox doesn't copy line numbers if you hide them.

Re: [DEV] bbGeSHi - a better syntax highlighter

Very cool. :) But why is it DEV if you have a download? It is stable but still under development. New functions will be added. Is it cool to download or should I wait? Yes, you can download it. I tested the code both on my converted 2.x board and on my 3.x development board. Think I like the way th...

Re: Applying new BBCodes to old posts

Tried again and can't see errors for the [url] and [url=] tags. Plain links however doesn't get parsed as you say. If you are using the code I showed here in this topic then: Find all: $message_parser->mesage = &$row['post_text']; After add: $row['post_text'] = make_clickable($row['post_text']); Tha...

Re: Template/style coding for RC1 be the same for final release?

Edit your template files as you do, using Dreamweaver or some other editor. Upload changed files to yours site trought ftp and then go to admin area and purge the cache.

No changes will be shown until you clear the cache or close of the cache for yours board.

Re: Code changes for future versions?

It's not what you are asking for but it will work the same way.

Use WinMerge to compare your files with the RC2 files when they are out and it will show you all difference between those. Line for line if you wish.

I'm using it to hold my modded RC1 to date with the cvs versions.

Re: Applying new BBCodes to old posts

Code I gave you is modified. However you need to add your custom bb-tags to your phpBB3 instalation before you run the file.

Tried on my own backup and it's working.

Re: Applying new BBCodes to old posts

No reconvert will not help you to fix that. As arod-1 wrote, you need to get a latest cvs version of phpBB and use adjust_bbcodes.php file that you find there. Howerver a slightly modification needs to be done on that file to make it work. Or if you are lazy try this one: (as always, try it localy f...

Re: help me troubleshoot

Are you using MsSQL as a database backend?

In that case take a look at this bug ticket to see what you need to change in your php.ini file.

And no, don't delete your current forum instalation.

Re: [BETA] GeSHi Code Syntax Highlighting 0.1.2

Thanks for that information and tip. I know that Firefox always copies the numbers of lists. Opera, Internet Explorer and other Browsers don't do that. I experienced that problem with some pastebin's. Thats related to Firefox and I am not going to add a big JavaScript to swap the content of the Cod...

Re: [BETA] GeSHi Code Syntax Highlighting 0.1.2

Cool, could you show me how you have done that Line Number on/off link? And how you are doing that exactly? I would like to include that into this mod. That link and a couple of another things is what is different between yours and my bbCode mod. :) You need to set an unique id attribute to the ges...
