Re: The Uploaded Files is Empty

Maximum size of each file. If this value is 0, the uploadable filesize is only limited by your PHP configuration. The settings are at 32mib to mirror my PHP settings; this should be no different from a setting of 0 according to your quote, so I don't see why you're repeating it, I've tried both set...

Re: The Uploaded Files is Empty

In attachment settings in the ACP what is Maximum file size set to? If it's set to zero, possibly your host or a PHP configuration is limiting the file size. As I've said, the limits are all at 32mb both in the ACP and in my PHP settings (verified via the PHP information page). I'm not receiving an...

Re: [RC] HTTP Guest Cache

Do you have MODX update from 0.2.0 within the archive? :) No, I haven't been bothering since the mod's been in development, and I've made more than enough copy/paste mistakes just with a single install file :D Are there any tools for doing it automatically? You can still get v0.2.0 here if you know...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

I've updated the first post with the link to v0.2.1. I'm pretty sure I've probably missed some notes from the change log, but the major change is that the mod now uses $_EXTRA_URL to add its parameter, and has a routine for stripping parameters from links that shouldn't have them (most notably redir...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

Actually, although you're right that I should really be adding the parameter directly during redirects, I'm unsure of what exactly you're doing in your append_sid() hook that is preventing the function from continuing? If all you're doing is making sure that no SID is actually added to a URL then yo...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

Ah, I may already have fixed this issue in my v0.2.1, but I'll have to verify when I have time. First of all I need to clean up my working environment; I think I now have three different phpBB installations with slightly different versions of my mod and your mod, which isn't helping ;)

Re: [RC] Cache Guests Pages

Okay, so I've been using your mod for a while now and I've noticed one slight issue on bigger sites; memory usage. Since the mod currently uses the regular phpBB file-cache the entire contents of the cached page are loaded into memory before anything is done with them, which can cause possible memor...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

I'm hoping to have a finished version soon Let me know asap, also let me know if you'll have to change headers call format. I used the following, let me know if I'll need to change something: That's perfect; I extracted my header changes into the set_headers() method so that I can keep it completel...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

Let me see if i understand properly how this mod work. If enter to the forum as guest, the 2nd time i will see an cached version direct from my local cache? Not just your local cache, but also any intermediate HTTP caches such as Squid proxy and (when setup correctly) CloudFlare. The aim being that...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

I've modified Cache Guests Pages mod by adding ETag/If-None-Match http headers support. It means that user will get 304 Not Modified status for unchanged pages in their browser cache. Or obtains that pages from caching proxies. I've removed support of your mod from my code, because I have to operat...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

Cron jobs perform much tasks. E.g. cleanups database, cache, performs other custom actions (configured by mods). I get what you're saying; I suppose if headers aren't sent by the time page_footer() has been called then I can still undo any cacheable headers that were set if a cron-job happens to be...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

Who will call cron jobs in case when only guests are online on your forum? I don't think that it should be a problem; no HTTP caching is performed on posting.php so any time someone changes something the cron job(s) should run normally. If no-one's posting then there isn't really anything that the ...

Re: [Beta] HTTP Guest Cache

First of all, do you know that installation package contains some unnecessary files like ._mod_http_guest_cache.php and ._acp_mod_http_guest_cache.php ? I don't know what are the files, suppose it is something from your MacOS. Apple likes to add trash anywhere. Ah yeah, I thought I'd run the script...
