Oh, I see, you have a media section on you site (not a part of the forum), and you want to detect if someone is logged into the forum before allowing them access to the media page. That's a mouth full, and probably beyond the kind of support you will get in this forum. You going to have to write PHP...

I assume the link is to a forum in your phpBB site? Simply set the permission for your forum to only allow registered users to view it. I think you would do this buy setting the "Guest" group to the forum role of "No Access". If they're not logged in they'll receive the login page.

Is it possible to create a new BBCode that uses an optional parameter?

In my situation I want an optional height parameter. If the height is not specified I want it to use a default value.

Found it.

It's defined in the forum roles. I assigned anonymous use the forum role, limited access, to each forum.

How do I allow anyone to post to my forum? I see there is a guest group and a anonymous user but I'm not sure how it works.
